Its a sunny day. I live in a small town and I work in Tianmen Foreign Middle School. You know it is far from school. I often get to school by bus, sometimes I get to school by car. What about you? Today, lets talk about how you go from one place to another. Step 2: Presentation 1.Show the pictures of train, bus, subway,bike 2.Let the students read the new words and expressions. 3.lets chantStep 3: Activity 1a1. Look at the picture carefully,then match the words with the pictures.Check the answers.2.Read the dialogue togetherStep 4: Activity 1b 1.Have the students read the instructions and know how to do them.2.Play the tape for two times.The first time, ask students to listen carefully and number the conversations.The second time,listen and check the answers.3.Follow the tape. Let students pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation.Step 5: Activity 1c 1.Give students enough time to practice the conversations in 1b.2.Ask them to make their own conversations. Step 6: Activity 2a Review the cardinal numbers and learn the new words in this unit, such as: sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, hundred, how far, how long, kilometer.1. (1)how 引導的特殊疑問句提問交通方式,其答語分四種情況: a. take a/an/the+交通工具(單數)乘去某地。 He takes the car/bus/bike/subway/train b. by+交通工具(單數)by car/bus/bike/subway/train/plane c. on foot步行d.walk/ride/drive/fly+to+地點名詞,步行/騎自行車/開車/坐飛機去某地【注意】on foot, by bike, by bus, by subway, by train, by car等詞組的名詞前不能加任何冠詞或其他修飾詞。練一練: - _ do you go to school every day? - By bus. A. How B. Why C. Where D. When(2)get to school到學校 go to school 去學校 get常與to連用表示“到達某地”;但當表示目的地的詞是副詞here, there, home等時,則不需要用介詞to.Eg: Theyll get to Beijing at six tonight. 他們將在今晚6點到達北京。(接地點名詞)When do you get home every day? 你每天幾點到家? (接地點副詞)知識點2. one hundred and five 一百零五hundred 數詞,意為“百”,當表示具體的“幾百”時,用“基數詞+hundred”表示,注意此時hundred不加“-s”.eg: There are about eight hundred students in our school. 我們學校大約有800名學生。知識點3. Is this your new bike? 這是你的新自行車嗎?new 形容詞,意為“新的;剛出現的”,其反義詞為old.Eg: Its a new desk. 這是一張新課桌。 He is a new student. 他是剛來的學生。知識點4. I ride it to school every day. 我每天騎他去上學。(1)ride V騎,后面可接bike, horse, motorbike等。 Ride n旅程an hours ride一小時的路程(2)every 限定詞,意為“每一,每個”,其后接單數可數名詞。every day意為“每天”。Eg: They are busy every day. 他們每天都忙。 Every student comes here. 每個學生都到這兒來了?!颈嫖觥縠very day 與everydayevery day表示某事發(fā)生的頻率,意為“每天,天天”,在句中作狀語eg: We go to school every day. 我們每天去上學。everyday 形容詞,意為“日常的,普通的”,在句中作定語eg: I study everyday English every day. 我每天學習日常英語。知識點5. How far is it from your home to school? 從你家到學校有多遠?how far 用來提問距離,多遠,其答語分為兩種: (1)用長度單位表示:It is five kilometers. (2)用時間表示:Its twenty minutes walk.知識點6. How long does it take you to get to school? 你到學?;ㄙM多長時間?(1)how long 用來提問時間,意為多久回答常用“for或about+段時間”。 -How long have you learnt English? -For /about 3 years.練一練: -_ have you lived with your grandparents? -About three years.A.
