意為“或者……或者……”連接兩個并列名詞、代詞或句子成份。當either…or…連接兩個名詞作主語時,謂語動詞的時態(tài)和數(shù)應與最近的一個相匹配。不是你對就是他對。
Eitheryouorheisright.3.lotsof與many,much的用法這三個詞都有“許多;大量”之意,但用法不同。1)lotsof,后面可以跟可數(shù)名詞也可以跟不可數(shù)名詞。如:Hedoesn’thavelotsof(=many)books.Wehavelotsof(=much)worktodo.2)many與可數(shù)名詞復數(shù)形式連用。如:籃子里有許多蘋果。Therearemanyapplesinthebasket.
3)much表示數(shù)量時,只能修飾不可數(shù)名詞。如:我沒有很多牛奶了。Wedon’thavemuchmilk.
4.Sheknowsit’snot
goodforher,butittastesgood!1)begoodfor…表示“對……有益;對……有好處”;bebadfor…表示“對……有害;對……有壞處”。早睡早起對我們的健康有好處。It’sgoodforourhealthtogotobedearlyandgetupearly.不要在暗處看書,這對你的眼睛有害。Don’treadinthedark.It’sbadforyoureyes.蘋果嘗起來味道很好。Applestastegood.冰淇淋的味道嘗起來很好嗎?Doestheice-creamtastenice?
2)taste意為“品嘗……的味道”。是連系動詞,后面常跟形容詞。拓展:taste作名詞,意為“味道”。冰淇淋有點檸檬的味道。Theice-creamhasatasteoflemon.一、寫出下列詞組
