aswimmerandtheshadowofsomeonebeingcastontothebottomorside

ofthepool."Theunderwaterenvironmentisaverydynamicone,withmany

Thesoftwaredoesthisby“projecting”ashapeinitsfieldofview

ontoanimageofthefarwallofthepool.Itdoesthesamewithanimage

fromanothercameraviewingtheshapefromadifferentangle.Ifthetwo

projectionsareinthesameposition,theshapeisidentifiedasashadow

andisignored.Butiftheyaredifferent,theshapeisaswimmerandso

thesystemfollowsitstrajectory.
