與while

(1)“當(dāng)…的時候”,如后面連接的動詞為進(jìn)行時態(tài),則用while多于用when。而when通常與瞬間性動詞或延續(xù)性不強(qiáng)的動詞連用。eg；ThestudentswereplayingfootballontheplaygroundwhenIgottoschool.

(2)如果while前后的動詞都是進(jìn)行時態(tài),while可譯為“與此同時”eg：Iwasreading
