模塊二unit2:reading精品教案 牛津高中英語教學(xué)設(shè)計module2 unit 2 an adventure in africa (reading 1st period) 一 基本說明1教 材: 牛津高中英語(advance with english)2年 級: 高一上學(xué)期 3所屬模塊: 模塊二4所屬版塊: 閱讀(reading)5出版單位: 譯林出版社6課 時: 第一課時7學(xué) 時 數(shù): 45分鐘二 教學(xué)設(shè)計analysis of the teaching material( 教材分析): the reading material of this unit is an informal letter about tobys travel plan with his brother. in the letter, toby describes his trip to africa in the coming summer holiday. a general introduction about their route in africa and adventure activities are presented. equipped with background information about africa, students are expected not only to grasp the main idea of the letter but also to improve their reading abilities , their creative, comprehensive and consolidating abilities as well.teaching objects( 教學(xué)對象): students of senior 1 teaching aims(教學(xué)目的)1knowledge and skills (知識和技能目的):1). train the students reading ability2). get the students to know the main idea of the text.3). develop the students creative, comprehensive and consolidating abilities.2cultural senses(文化意識目的):1). help the students to know some beautiful scenery of different places in the world.2). help the students to know something about africa.3. emotion and values (情感及價值目的) : develop the students feeling of beauty and love of life and our hometown whileenjoying the nice mountains and rivers in the world.teaching important points(教學(xué)重點):develop the students reading ability.teaching difficult points(教學(xué)難點):1. how to make the students understand the passage better.2. how to help the students finish the exercises.3. how to help the students develop their creative, comprehensive and consolidating abilities.teaching methods(教學(xué)方法):1. fast-reading method to get the general idea of the passage.2. careful-reading method to get the detailed information in the text.3. discussion after reading to help the students finish the tasks.4. acting to develop the students creative, comprehensive and consolidating abilities. teaching aids(教具):the multimedia and a blackboardteaching procedures(教學(xué)步驟)step 1 duty report: please say something about your most unforgettable travelling experience.(3-4 minutes)(設(shè)計意圖:通過值日報告引出本節(jié)課的主題旅游。)step 2 lead- in (導(dǎo)入(1 minute)nowadays, travelling is becoming more and more popular .some of them even go abroad. today well go to a beautiful place.step3 pre-reading (閱讀前準(zhǔn)備) (4-5 minutes)present some pictures about africa to the students and encourage them to express their impression on africa.(設(shè)計意圖:呈現(xiàn)與閱讀文章相關(guān)的圖片自然、直觀地讓學(xué)生了解課文的相關(guān)內(nèi)容,激發(fā)學(xué)生進(jìn)一步學(xué)習(xí)探索的興趣和欲望,為下面的閱讀理解提供相應(yīng)的背景知識并做好鋪墊。)step 4 fast reading(6-7 minutes)a. scanning scan the letter and answer the questions of part a.1. who wrote the following letter?toby.2. what animal is uncomfortable to sit on?camels.3. how long will the author stay in africa?about four weeks.(設(shè)計意圖:讓學(xué)生帶著問題尋讀文章相關(guān)信息,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生有意識地帶著問題快速尋找答案并了解相關(guān)內(nèi)容的閱讀策略。 )b. skimming1. skim the whole text to find out the destinations of the adventure and finish exc2 of p24.put the activities in the correct order. _ travel down the river nile _ travel on camels through the sahara desert_ climb mountain kilimanjaro in tanzania _ see wild animals in kenya _ fly to morocco _ go to the himalayas2. tell the five sentences true or false according to the text1. toby leaves london on 15th july and they will go to morocco by train . 2. the sahara desert is the biggest desert in the world and it is twice the size of the us.3. they will wear special clothing , a helmet and a life jacket to go white-water rafting .4. toby wants to see a giraffe up close but colin wants to see an elephant.5. mountain climbing can be very tiring, and many people feel sick as the air gets thinner .(設(shè)計意圖:采用略讀的方法,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生閱讀整體觀念,讓學(xué)生形成快速獲取主要信息的閱讀能力。)step 5 careful reading and do exercises(精讀)(11-12 minutes) (設(shè)計意圖)通過細(xì)讀文章,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生獲取信息和處理信息的能力,從而達(dá)到幫助學(xué)生更好地理解所讀文章的目的。step 6 post reading :retelling the route of traveling (讀后討論復(fù)述)(4-5 minutes) let the students talk about the route of traveling with the help of pictures.(設(shè)計意圖)訓(xùn)練學(xué)生用簡潔的語言復(fù)述課文,以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的概括和口頭表達(dá)能力。step 7 discussion and acting ( group work)(about 10 minutes)show the short video of mount lang to students .its so beautiful that many people have come to xinning to visit mount lang. if you are aihua , your friend, toby wants to come to mount lang in xinning .how do you design aihuas travelling plan? an trip in xinningwhat places to travel?what to do?what to take with?how
