Weallwanttobelievethatwearecapableofgreatfeats,wecancallthepotentialtoreachourfullestdream. “noyoungmanbelieveshewilleverfade”,itwasasayingofmyoldfriend,andafineone.Welookroundinthisworld,fulloflife,andmotion,andceaselessprogress,asinsettingoutondelightfuljourney,westrainoureagergazeforward.ThereisafeelingofEternityinyouth,justrightwhichmakesusamendforeverything. Aboutmydream,itcanbetracedbacktomychildhood,Ijustwantplaymore,whenIgrewolder,IwasconvincedthatIwouldbeaphysicistorapsychologist.After,ItsapityformethatIcouldnotdoanythingtoapproachit.Althoughtheyhaveceasedtoexistanddispeared,theyleadmygrowthalongtheway.dreamsnourishourspirit,theyrepresentpossibilityeventhenwearedraggeddownbyreality.dreamisthebeacon.,Withoutdream,thereisnosecuredirection;withoutdirection,thereisnolife.SoIbelievetheimportantthinginlifeistohaveagreatdream,andthedeterminationtoattainit.Withoutowndream,we couldneverhavegrownuparealman.Andinfact,Notonlyforpersonal,butalsoforworld. Now,IhaveadreamthatonedayournationwouldriseupandliveoutthetruemeaningofitspledgeofterritorialintegrityandPeoplesrichandpowerful,suchasourdiaoyuisland. Andasforpersonaldream,Myidealfuturecareeristobeaurbanandregionalplannerwhocouldfunctionasachiefplanneranddesignerofacity. Atfirst,itwasmynaturalteacherofseniorhighschoolwhobroughtmegreatinterestinarchitecturesandcitieswhenIwasfarawayfromurbanplanning.AndthenImetmanycitiesinandoutofbooksbymyself.differentplacesanddifferentculturesjustmadememoreinterestedincities. Iseethatthereremanyproblemscausedbyurbandevelopmentandthelackofdeliberateplanning,suchasenvironmentalpollution,slums,urbansprawlingetc.citiesestablishthekindofhousing,industrial,andretailfacilitieswhichcanbebuiltinit.Othersevaluatetheimpactofproposedresidentialormercialdevelopmentandsuggestwaysformunitiestorespond.AndIwanttoprotectopenspaceand agriculturallandinthefaceofincreasingdemandsfornewhomesandbusiness. theurbanplanningsystemshouldbepleteandcanrunitselfandmostcitieshavedevelopedandthereremuchexperienceandmanycasestolearn.Iwanttomit. Finally,plannersusuallycanfindadecentjobandgetgoodpaidandIwanttohaveahouse,facingtheseawithflowersinthefuture.Iwilltakeeveryefforttoaomplishmydream.Iwontletitbeeafantasy,itisjustmydream.maybesomeyearslater,itwillbeetrue.
