theyhadtotackledesertsandjungles.Theyalsosurvivedcloseencounterswith

elephantsinUgandaandBotswanaandanaccidentinMalaysia.Thegreatesthardship

onthetuk-tukwasthemountain-rangeslyingintheirpath,includingtheAlps,the

HimalayasandtheAndes.

NickandRicharduncoveredsomeinspirationalprojectsacrossAfrica,Asiaand

SouthAmerica.Theywitnessedfirsthandtheeducationalchallengesfacingtheseareas

today.TheyjoinedstreetchildrenintheslumsofCairo,Khartoum,Kampala,Mumbai

andPhnomPenh.TheyvisitedCongoleserefugees(難民)incampsinEasternBurundi.
