2、lause.The impersonal pronoun “it” can be used to talk about time,distance,weather,etc.“In this period we will focus on only part of its usages,that is,the use of “it” when the subject of a sentence is a clause,an infinitive,or the ing form and formal object.三維目標設計Knowledge and skills1To let the stud

6、 according to the above sentences.Step 2Grammar learningAsk the students to study the following sentences and try to summarize the structure and usages of“it”The personal pronoun “it” and the impersonal pronoun “it” it作為代詞的用法(1)指代上文提到過的事物。This suitcase looks heavy but actually it is very light.這個手提箱
7、看上去很重,但實際上很輕。(2)指代性別不明的嬰兒。My sisterinlaw gave birth to a baby and it weighed 4 kg.我嫂子生了個小孩,體重為4千克。(3)指代性別不明確的人。Who is knocking at the door?誰在敲門?It might be the milkman.可能是送牛奶的人。(4)可以表示時間、距離、自然現象、環(huán)境、情況等。It is two miles to the island from here.從這兒到那座島兩英里遠。It is quite warm at the moment.現在天氣很暖和。It is 5
8、 oclock now by my watch.我的手表現在是5點鐘。It was very noisy at the very moment.正好那個時候很吵。(5)指代指示代詞this, that或不定代詞something,nothing等。What is this?這是什么?Its a kind of food.這是一種食物。Whenever she sees something that she likes, she goes and buys it.每當她看到喜歡的東西,她就會去買下來。2、“It” is used in the subject position.it用作形式主語i
9、t作形式主語時,常用于以下幾個句型:(1)It takes sb.some time to do sth.某人花時間做某事。It will take you 20 minutes to get there by bus.坐公共汽車去那里花費你20分鐘。(2)It beadj.to do/that.做是的。常用于此句型的形容詞有:possible, necessary, important, easy, strange, natural等。Its important for us to study hard.努力學習對我們來說很重要。It is strange that she should r
10、efuse to come to the party.很奇怪,她居然拒絕來參加聚會。(3)It ben.to do/that.做是的。常用于此句型的名詞有:pity, honour, shame, wonder等。It is a pity that you didnt attend the party.你沒參加聚會真遺憾。It is a shame for us to have lost the game.我們輸了這場比賽,真丟人。(4)It beadj./n.doing.做是的。常用于此句型的形容詞或名詞(詞組)有:no good, no use, no pleasure, no fun,
11、useless, a waste of time等。It is no use trying again.再試一遍也沒有用。Its a waste of time doing such useless things.做這樣無用的事情等于浪費時間。(5)It be過去分詞that.據常用于此句型的過去分詞有:said, announced, believed, reported, known, hopedIt was said that a heavy snowstorm hit that area last week.據說,上周那個地區(qū)遭到一場嚴重的暴風雪的襲擊。It is believed t
12、hat reading increases our knowledge and broadens our mind.人們認為,閱讀能增加我們的知識,拓寬我們的視野。3、“It” is used in the Object position.it用作形式賓語it用作形式賓語時,常代替動詞不定式(短語)或賓語從句,即常用于“主語謂語itadj./n.to do sth./that.”結構中,it偶爾替代動名詞。常用于此結構的及物動詞有:make, think, feel, find, consider等。I find it easy enough to get on with Kate.我發(fā)現和凱
13、特相處非常容易。He made it clear that he was not interested in that subject.他講明了他對那門課程不感興趣。I think it no use arguing with him.我認為和他爭論是沒有用的。在英語中,某些動詞(短語)不能直接跟賓語從句,須先接it作形式賓語,然后再把真正的賓語置后。這類動詞多表示“喜好”“厭惡”“認為”等抽象意義,如like, enjoy, prefer, appreciate, dislike, hate, take, have, owe等,它們構成“v.it when/if從句”結構;動詞短語depen
14、d on(依靠),answer for(負責;擔保),insist on(堅持),see to(務必,確保),take.for granted(認為理所當然)等后接that從句時,須用it作形式賓語。I would appreciate it if you could come to my birthday party.如果你能來參加我的生日聚會,我會很感激的。She hates it when you use her books.她討厭你用她的書。Will you see to it that the luggage is brought back as soon as possible?你
