1、第 頁/共9頁Unit5Travelingabroad第一部分教學設(shè)計說明Aboutthetopicandthestructures單元話題和結(jié)構(gòu)本單元的中心話題是“出國旅游”11,課文始終圍繞這一主題展開II。具體涉及在國外學習、旅游等|,語言知識和語言技能部分主要是圍繞“旅游”這一中心話題進行設(shè)計的II。本單元語言功能項目是:喜歡/不喜歡;可能/不可能本單元語言結(jié)構(gòu)項目是“復習非限制性定語從句”II。本單元還要求學生學習寫作“私人信函:筆友信”II。金色教案教學設(shè)計在單元課時劃分上與課本保持一致I,即“閱讀課、知識課、運用課三課時/三課型劃分”II。但在實際教學過程中II,建議教師依據(jù)學生

2、基礎(chǔ)、教學條件、學校安排的因素II,對課本、對金色教案教學設(shè)計重新劃分課時II,裁剪、拼接使用提供的材料II,以便“物盡所用”II,達到最佳教學效果II。教師也可以參照金色教案提供的“實際教學過程課時劃分建議”進行教學II。Period1Reading閱讀課WarmingUp通過了解什么是留學II,進行“熱身活動II。留學II,舊稱留洋II,一般是指一個人去母國以外的國家接受各類教育II,時間可以為短期或長期(從幾個星期到幾年)II。這些人被稱為“留學生”II。在中國大陸II,學生把前往香港、澳門等地區(qū)的學習也稱為留學I,這是由于這些地區(qū)有著不同的教育制度II。另外II,美國等國家組織的一類海

3、外短期的交換學生計劃II,其英文名字“Studyabroad直譯也為留學II,請參見海外研修(中國大陸稱為海外交流)II。Pre-reading討論留學的原因II。留學的原因主要有下:開闊眼界和經(jīng)驗學習與該國有關(guān)的語言、文化知識;追求更好的教育條件;在從發(fā)展中國家到發(fā)達國家留學的學生中II,這個原因最為常見;外交原因I,政府之間為了表示親善合作II,可能互派學生、官員或者軍人到對方學校學習;與移民有關(guān)的原因II,例如:隨父母暫時居住在外國的未成年人;以留學生身份申請學生簽證II,獲得暫時定居權(quán);熟悉該國社會II,積累經(jīng)驗II,為以后永久性定居做準備II。Pre-reading部分設(shè)計了兩個問題

4、II,第一個問題是開放性的II,討論出國學生的優(yōu)點和缺點II??梢宰寣W生展開思維II,闡述自己的觀點II,為正文的閱讀作好知識上和心理上的鋪墊II,第二個問題要求學生預測閱讀課文中的主人公在英國學習可能遇到的困難和英國學校學習與中國學校學習的不同II。Reading部分介紹了主人公謝蕾第一次去國外求學進預科班時所面臨的問題II,以及房東和導師對他的幫助II,使她大膽正視困難II,迎接挑戰(zhàn)II,最終樹立了信心II。教師應(yīng)當研究影響閱讀理解的內(nèi)部因素II,從閱讀方法、注意、記憶和思維等方面引導學生讀懂課文、活用課文II。Period2Learningaboutlanguage知識課Learning

5、aboutLanguage部分共有詞匯和語法兩部分II,詞匯部分第一題要求學生用課文中的詞語填空II。第二題要求學生學習和運用同根詞II。語法部分是復習非限制性定語從句的用法II。語法教學應(yīng)該抓住形式、意義和用法三個環(huán)節(jié)II,正確處理三者之間的關(guān)系II。明確讓學生掌握語言形式是基礎(chǔ)、了解其意義是關(guān)鍵、學會使用才是真正的目的II。Period3Usinglanguage運用課UsingLanguage部分共設(shè)計了“聽力”、“讀和說”和“寫”三大塊II?!奥犃Α辈糠止灿兴念}II,而且由淺入深I(lǐng)I,層層深入II。實際教學過程課時劃分建議Period1將WarmingUp、Pre-reading、Re

6、ading和Comprehending整合在一起上一節(jié)“閱讀課”II。Period2將Learningaboutlanguage和Workbook中的USINGWORDSANDEXPRESSIONS、USINGSTRUCTURES整合在一起上一節(jié)“語言知識課”II。Period3將Usinglanguage設(shè)計為一節(jié)包括聽說讀寫單項技能或組合技能訓練的“綜合技能課(一)”II。Period4將Workbook的READINGANDLISTENING和TALKING整合在一起上一節(jié)“聽說課”II。Period5將Workbook的LISTENINGTASK、READINGANDWRITINGTA
