6、,通常配合語言練習(xí)以及閱讀理解的題目。精讀的材料多為老師選定,全班不論水平高低,都讀一樣的材料,并要求最大限度的理解文章。由于難度較大,讀者需要停下閱讀翻閱詞典,這樣對于閱讀速度以及閱讀的流暢性都有影響。 泛讀要求在閱讀大量的材料時,不必深入到文章具體內(nèi)容,能夠把握文章主旨就好。這樣的閱讀方法,有利于更多材料的閱讀,并且能使得閱讀更加流暢,增強讀者面對長篇文章的信心。泛讀的另一特點是培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)者的獨立閱讀能力。因此,在分級讀物的閱讀實踐中,泛讀是主要的閱讀方法。此外,適當運用精讀可以增強對文章的理解。 Intensive reading It is related to further prog

7、ress in language learning under the teachers guidance. It provides a basis for explaining difficulties of structure and for extending knowledge of vocabulary and idioms. Students will study short stories and extracts from novels. Intensive reading is generally at a slower speed and requires a higher

8、 degree of understanding . Extensive reading It develops at the students own pace according to individual ability. The purpose of extensive reading is to train the students to read fluently in the target language for enjoyment without the aid of the teacher. It means reading in order to gain a gener

9、al understanding of what is read. It is intended to develop good reading habits, to build up knowledge of vocabulary and structure and to encourage a liking for reading, Increase total comprehension, enable students to achieve independence in basic skill development, acquaint the student with releva

We would start from home, walking the two blocks to the commuter rail station. Wed tak

32、e the train into Center City (Philadelphians name for “downtown”), then a bus, switching to the subway-surfacethe Southeastern Pennsylvanian Transportation Authority (SEPTA)s name for a trolley), then maybe a taxi. We always considered taking a horse-and-buggy in the historic district (Society Hill

33、or the Independence Mall area) but we didnt like the way the horses were treated, so we never did.At the end of the day, we took the subway to our closest station, where her friend was waiting to give us a ride home our first car ride of the day.My mom was never a big bicyclist, but if I have kids,

34、a bike ride will definitely be part of our Transportation Days.The brilliance of Transportation Days is not only that she taught us how to get around. Its that her instincts were multimodal. She understood that car dependency was a failure of the imagination and, most likely, a failure of confidence

Using the tips below will help to assure that the fish you release will survive to bite again another day.When catching a fish, play it quickly and keep the fish in the water as much as possible whi

48、le handling. Avoid the use of a net in landing the fish and release it quickly to avoid exhaustion.Handle the fish gently and as little as possible. Do not put your fingers in its eyes or gills. Avoid wiping the slime or scales off the fish; this reduces their survival by making them more susceptibl

49、e to disease or infection.Remove hook promptly using needlenose pliers or a hook out device. If the hook is too deep or hooked in the stomach or throat, cut the line and leave the hook in.
