However, I have also obtained a major in Justice and Law and Sociology.I amcurrentlyseekinga secure ESLEFLteaching position in South Korea or Taiwan. I have always had a unique in terestin the culture of these

3、 two coun tries. I curre ntlyhave several friends teaching abroad, in both South Korea and Taiwan, and I would like to join them. I have heard nothing but good things relati ng to the people of both countries.It is at this time in which I would liketo experienee the people and the culture of these c

4、ountries firsthand.As no ted in my resume, I am curre ntly volun teeri ng at the Intern ati onal Centre of Winnip eg. Work ing for this orga ni zatio n has pro vided me with the opportun ity to con duct one on one tutori ng. As a personal tutor, I have had to devel op differe nt less on plans for ea

5、ch stude nt. Curre ntly, I am assisti ng two in dividuals, each with sep arate n eeds. For in sta nee, for the firstin dividual,I amhe Iping him acquire his high school En glishcredit. As a result of the differentdemandsof the students, I have had to develop and employ variousteaching methodsn addition to tutoring for the International Winnip eg, I am also curre ntly volun teeri ng as an assista nt la

7、 nguage teacher at the Winnipeg Adult Education Centre. As an assistant teacher, I facilitate in the delivery of the less on plan. In this the in structi onCentre ofIan guage classroom, time is divided, with half of the time being spent learningthrough pu ters and the other half through various task

Although I am not directly invo Ived in devel oping the less on plan, I am directlyinvo Ived in the assessme nt of stude nt p rogress, class directi onand student teaching.As a volunteer for these two organizations,not onlyhave I gained valuable teaching experienee, I have also been

9、 provided the opportun ity to atte nd various ESLEFL worksh ops. These worksh ops have focused on a variety oftopics,such as, student assessment according tothe Canadian Language Benchmarks, key issues related to listening, sp eak ing, readi ng and writ ing,the in flue nee that culture has on Ian gu

10、ageand puter assisted learning. Although I have received a TESOlcertificate, p artici pati ngin theseworksh opsand volun teeri ngwith theseorga ni zati ons has better prep ared me to bee an effective and efficie nt ESLEFL teacher.You will also find that my personal and pro fessi onal characteristics
