Yes,I do/ No, I dont.你難道不記得我們在西班牙的度假嗎? 不,我記得/是的,我不記得。(2)想要表示驚訝、不相信或者夸張時。-Cant you (really) ride a b
11、ike? 你真的不會騎自行車嗎?-No, I cant. 是的,我不會。(3)表示想說服別人時。-Wont you help me?-No, Im afraid I cant.是的,我恐怕幫不了你。(4)表示批評或者表示厭煩、挖苦時。:Cant you shut the door behind you?你不能隨手關(guān)門嗎?(5)用在感嘆句中(用降調(diào))。Didnt he do well!(難道他做的不好嗎?) Isnt it coldhere!(難道這里不冷嗎?)2、I used to be afraid of being alone. 過去我常害怕獨處。(1)alone 是表語形容詞,意思是“獨
12、自的,單獨的?!盨he lives alone in the house.(她獨自住在這座房子里。)注意區(qū)分alone和lonelyalone的意義是“單獨、獨自的”,而lonely則指“孤獨的、寂寞的”。試看下面這個句子:The old mans wife died a year ago. He lives alonenow, but he never feels lonely.這位老人的妻子一年前去世了,他獨自生活,但從不感到孤獨。(2)be afraid of 害怕, 后面可接名詞、代詞和動詞ing 形式。例:Are you afraid of snakes?你害怕蛇嗎?He is af

21、y 與可數(shù)名詞連用試比較下面兩個句子:You eat so much food.你吃的太多了。You have so many booksto read.你有那么多要讀的書語法:used to 的用法如下:(1)肯定句:used這個詞沒有人稱的變化,to后面接動詞原形。I /You / We / They / He / She / It usedto be / work / have / play etc.否定句是didnt use to.·When I was a child, I didnt use to like apples.當我還是孩子的時候我不喜歡蘋果疑問形式是did y
22、ou use to?·Where did you use to live before you camehere?當你來這兒之前你住哪兒?(2)含有used to 的句子的反意疑問句不要usednt + 主語,而用didnt 主語。He used to smoke, didnt he? 他過去常常吸煙,是嗎?Yes, he did./ No, he didnt. 是的,他吸。/ 不,他不吸。(3)used to 表示過去的習(xí)慣動作, 而不是現(xiàn)在的。I am used to the weather here. 我已經(jīng)習(xí)慣于這里的天氣了。He is used to hard work.
