2、e care of my grandpa.He was an incredibly kind and generous man,the first influence in my life. I adored him very much,though some of his behaviours may seem to defy understanding.Poor as he was,he never turn away a beggar.Quite often,as long as he was free,he would invite some friends, even strays,

3、to have lunch together. While hearing their laughter and delightful chatter,I couldnt help feeling confused. So one day,I came to my grandpa, Grandpa,why do you look so happy with those beggars every time?They look dirty. After hearing this,my grandpa gently stroked my head,and told me about his chi

4、ldhood,with a light smile on his face. When he was just a little boy,his parents always lived in the mortal dread how could they live a hand-to-mouth life with thier meager incomes?They were both from remote rural areas and had gone through a lot.The days when they suffered from hunger stayed with h

5、im for a long time. Since then,he made up his mind to spend time offering assistance to those in need,even though he was not rich at all. He usually gave sympathy to beggars, because he thought thier life was much harder and he should pass happiness on to others.By giving them a smile,offering them

6、a simple meal,or dropping a little change into thier broken bowls,he gradually obtained the real nature of happiness. Real happiness is giving,and it will never ask whether you are black or white,rich or poor,young or old.As long as you are ready to give,and fully appreciate everything that arises o

7、n your path,you will never feel lonely. It was till then that I realized how fortunate I had been.In comparison with those who are suffering all manners of hardships,I was so lucky! Many years have gone by,and I am a grown-up now,but what my grandpa used to say to me is still clear. Affected by him,

8、I often keep an eye open for those who are in need,and do whatever I can to help them. Many times I see a lot of people sacrifice their families and communities for money,lots of people use all means available to get more and more money. However,once they arrive there,they usually spend lavishly wit

9、hout thinking. More often than not,they would finally leave thier debts unpaid,and become as poor as before.For them,the purpose of life is just to earn and spend.They behave as though happiness is one wave of a credit card away. As a result,they invariably grumble about thier being unhappy.Who is t

10、o blame?Its themselves of course! At the same time,many people cant have thier voices heard about decisions. They feed and house thier families in life. However,strapped as they are,they never forget to minister to the poor,the sick the neglected and the deprived. For them,a comfortable shelter and

11、warm clothes are enough.Even though they strive merely for a better future,they never fail to give,to pass around love. For them,the appetite for adventure plays a more important role in the love of ease.With a willing heart,they revel in their own interior abundance,a kind of enjoyment which has no

12、thing to do with money. I remember there was a time when I was in a state of deep depression,I wandered around the street aimlessly. Just then,I happened to see a little child wheeling an old man passing by. They were in ragged clothing,but there was a hearty laughter on their face,which enchanted m

13、e most.Deeply affected on seeing this,I shed happy tears. Its uneasy for a disabled to live like that,but he did it!Although he lived a hard life,he didnt feel depressed or ashamed. From time to time,I had thought if I were rich one day,I would journey round the world,build up my economic empire and

14、 harness others to the survice of me. But there seems to be something more important than that. In todays 21st century,there is still a lot of children who have no access to going to school,a lot of aged who have no enough food to get rid of hunger,a lot of disabled who have no chance to regain healthon account of the lack of money! Though
