I couldnt do most of the things they could do, and it was easier for them to leave me behind.One day, after be

4、happened. I got on the old bike. The wind blew my hair back. My heart was racing and my mind was filled with pride. Words cannot express the joy I felt when I stopped at the finishing line. 5. 7、ar. Before leaving, he told his wife to take good care of their son. 3. Two months later she was very tired and she was ill in bed. Now the young man got into trouble. He couldnt do any housework. He had to do as his mother told him.One day, Stephens mother found that his shoes were badly worn out.
8、4. But his didnt know how to choose. The woman gave him a shoe pattern and told him to buy a pair of shoes himself. Its Saturday and Stephen didnt go to school. With the help of a policeman, he found a shoe shop. The shopkeeper was very friendly to him. 5. When Stephen was trying on a pair, suddenly
9、 he remembered something and took off the shoes. The man was surprised and asked, “Whats the matter, sir?” “Im sorry, but Ive left the shoe pattern at home!”A. 15、hat bad habit forever!Step 1 Keep a journal for a day or twoMake a note every time you engage in your habit. 1. Are you bored, angry, sad? The more you understand the reason behind your habit, the more control youll have over it.Step 2 2. If you notice a pattern to your habit, start thinking about w
16、ays you can change the pattern. For example, if you bite your nails when youre stressed, try to find other ways to calm yourself.Step 3 Replace your bad habit with a good one.Instead of biting your nails, keep your fingers busy drawing or writing. If gossip is your problem, challenge yourself to say
17、 nice things about people. 3. Step 4 Stay focused.4. For example, “I will stop biting my nails.” Make a list of each day, and place a gold star next to each day that you dont follow your habit. Before you know it, youll have a whole page of gold stars!Step 5 Keep at it. Maybe youve heard the express
18、ion “5. ”? Well, its true! It usually takes three weeks to a month to break a bad habit. So if you mess up one day, dont give up, either! Just go right back to trying again the next day. A.
