Section B 1 (1a-1e)一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識(shí)目標(biāo):1) 能掌握以下單詞:UFO, alien, run after, suit, express, not only.but also., circle, Britain, receive, leader, midsummer, medical, prevent, energy, position, burial, honor, ancestor, victory, enemy, period 2) 能掌握以下重難句子: For many years, historians believed Stonehenge was a temple where ancient leaders tried to communicate with the gods.The large stones were put together in a certain way.As you walk there, you can feel the energy from your feet move up your body. 2. 情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo): 通過學(xué)習(xí)英國巨石陣, 培養(yǎng)對事物的探索精神。不信謠,不傳謠。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn)1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):1) 掌握本課時(shí)出現(xiàn)的生詞及用法。2) 進(jìn)行聽力訓(xùn)練,提高綜合聽說能力。 3)閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)信息,提高學(xué)生們的綜合閱讀能力。2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)1) 聽力訓(xùn)練2) 閱讀2b部分的短文并完成相關(guān)要求。三、教學(xué)過程Step 1 Revision &Lead in1.Show a picture of Yao Mings shooting, and ask:What do you think about the basketball? Will it get into the hoop or just hit the board? Why do you think so?2.Describe the picture according to students own judgement with the words: must, might, could, cant. For example:Yao Ming is playing basketball on the playground. He is throwing the ball to the hoop. Some players are trying to stop him. I am sure the ball must be able to get into the hoop because they cant stop him.Step 2 Practice (1a)1. Read the instructions to the class. Read the words in the box and have students repeat them several times. Invite different students to explain the meaning of each word in their own words. Especially pay attention to the words: UFO and alien. 2.Get students to look at the three pictures carefully. Ask a student to give the sample answer to the class. Get students to complete the activity individually. As students work, walk around the classroom offering language support as needed.3.Check the answers on the blackboard.Step 3 Listening (1b)1.Read the instructions to the class. Point to the three pictures in Activity 1.2.Play the recording for the first time. Students only listen.3.Play the recording a second time. Students listen and circle the things that they hear.4.Check the answers.5.Encourage students to write two or three sentences to finish the story. 6.Answers will vary. Write a sample version on the blackboard. Ask students to use it as a model. Step 4 Listening (1c)1.Explain the meaning of the word creature to the students.2.Play the recording once or twice, using the pause button as necessary. Students listen to the recording and complete the sentences.3.Show the answers on the screen by a projector so that students can check the spelling and other details of their answers.Step 5 Role play the conversation.(1d)1.Ask two students to read the sample conversation to the class.2.Divide the class into groups of three. Students discuss the statements with their group.3.As the groups work together, walk around the classroom offering help as needed.
