Go on learning direct speech and indirect speech:(1) The old lady told Kangkang that she had been like that since the week before.(2) Kangkang asked the old lady how long she had been like that.(3) The journalist asked Mrs. Zhou whether/if she was feeling better then. (4) The journalist asked what the environment around that place was like.3. Learn some expressions about blame and complaint:(1) Its difficult for me to breathe. (2) The bad air makes my chest hurt.(3) the factory makes too much noise and I cant sleep well at night. (4) Im always in a bad mood (5) I cant stand the environment here. (6) Anyway, I hope the government will solve this problem soon. Teaching aids 教具圖片/教學(xué)掛圖/錄音機/小星星/游戲紙條Step 1 Review 第一步 復(fù)習(xí)(時間:6分鐘)檢查上節(jié)課的作業(yè),通過學(xué)生對調(diào)查結(jié)果的匯報和轉(zhuǎn)述,復(fù)習(xí)直接引語和間接引語。T:Is there air pollution around your home?S1:Yes. There are several chemical factories near my home. They make terrible gas. I often feel sick.T:What did S1 say just now?S2:S1 said that there were several chemical factories near his/her home.S3:S1 said that they made terrible gas.S4:S1 said that he/she often felt sick.(其余五種污染用同樣的方法進行轉(zhuǎn)述。)Step 2 Presentation 第二步 呈現(xiàn)(時間:12分鐘)繼續(xù)展示有關(guān)環(huán)境污染的圖片,開展對話,學(xué)習(xí)生詞,呈現(xiàn)1a。1. (教師用Section A的1a進行導(dǎo)入,利用圖片引出新的詞匯。)T: From 1a, Section A, we know Kangkang and his friends planned to go for a picnic. But two days later, when the children reached the West Hill, would they have a picnic there?Ss:No. T: Why?Ss:The flowers, grass and fish have gone. The chemical factories are pouring waste water into the stream. T: (出示工廠排放著濃煙的圖片。)And what is the factory making?Ss:Its making smoke. T: Yes, its producing smoke. Its producing terrible gas. (教師做捂鼻皺眉狀。)Its difficult to breathe. (板書并要求學(xué)生掌握produce;理解gas。)produce, gasT: The terrible gas can make peoples chest hurt. (教師做捂胸皺眉狀。)(板書并要求學(xué)生掌握。)chestT:Whats more, the factory makes too much noise. What problems does noise pollution cause?S1:Maybe people cant sleep well. T:Yes, it makes people weak, and people may be in a bad mood.(板書并要求學(xué)生掌握。)weakT: Pollution causes too many problems. Anyway, we should do something to stop it. (板書并要求學(xué)生掌握。)anyway2. (呈現(xiàn)1a圖片。)T:Look at the picture. Who are they in the picture?Ss:They are Kangkang and Granny. T:What other things can you see?S2:I can see some dead fish. S3:The bird in the tree is dying.S4:Some chemical factories are producing terrible gas. S5:Factories are pouring waste water into the river. T:Great! So it causes water pollution and air pollution. Look at Kangkang and Granny. What are they talking about? Listen to the tape, and then answer the question.(教師放1a錄音,學(xué)生聽后回答。)Ss:They are talking about pollution. T: Very good.Step 3 Consolidation 第三步 鞏固(時間:9分鐘)采用表演及競賽的方法,充分調(diào)動學(xué)生積極性,繼續(xù)鞏固直接引語與間接引語,鞏固1a,完成1b。1. (讓學(xué)生再讀1a對話,并要求和同桌一起表演,完成1a。) T: Read 1a aloud, and try to act out the dialog in pairs.2. (學(xué)習(xí)1b。將學(xué)生分成四組進行比賽,看哪組同學(xué)的觀察思維能力強。每發(fā)現(xiàn)一條變化規(guī)則,即為本組加一顆星。教師可適時地引導(dǎo)。)T:Read 1b carefully, and try to find out the changing rules. Lets have a match.S1:Kangkang asked the old lady how long she had been like that.S2:The old lady said she had been like that since the week before.S3:Kangkang said that was too bad.S4:Kangkang asked the old lady whether/if she had seen a doctor.(教師進行補充和總結(jié),并對獲勝組進行表揚和獎勵。)Step 4 Practice 第四步 練習(xí)(時間:12分鐘)設(shè)置情景展開對話,強化疑問句變成間接引語的操練,完成2;展開小組討論,完成3。1. (提醒學(xué)生注意一般疑問句變成間接引語的規(guī)則。) T: After Kangkang wrote to the newspaper about the old ladys problems, a journalist interviewed her. What are the journalists questions? Lets look at the first picture in 2.Ss:Are you feeling better now, Mrs. Zhou?T:Right. The journalist asked the old lady if she was feeling better.2. (師生對話,讓學(xué)生先口頭練習(xí),然后書面完成2。) T:What is Mrs. Zhous answer?Ss:Shes feeling even worse.T:Good. Please answer it with indirect speech.Ss:Mrs. Zhous said that she was feeling even worse.T:Then, what did the journalist ask?Ss:What is the environment around this place like?T:Please answer it with indirect speech.Ss:He asked what the environment around that place was like. T: Complete the rest sentences with direct speech or indirect speech. (核對答案。)3. (三人一組練習(xí):一人問,一人回答,一人作匯報,要求用到所學(xué)的間接引語知識。完成3。) T: Discuss the questions in 3, and work in groups of three. One asks, another answers and the third one reports it using indirect speech. Two minutes for preparation.Step 5 Project 第五步 綜合探究活動(時間:6分鐘)通過做游戲的方式,繼續(xù)鞏固直接引語與間接引語,布置有關(guān)環(huán)境內(nèi)容的作文,加強本課功能句型的運用。1. Play a game.(傳話:分給每組第一位同學(xué)一張紙,上面事先寫好同一句話How is the environment around this school?(即直接引語)。這位同學(xué)要以間接引語的形式(The teacher said/asked)口頭向第二個同學(xué)傳話,然后依次往后傳,最后接到話的同學(xué)要使用直接引語說出原句。傳得又快又正確的組獲勝。注:各組人數(shù)要一樣多。如果時間允許,可以換一個句子繼續(xù)游戲。)2. Homework:Write to the government about the pollution problems around your home.板書設(shè)計:Pollution causes too many problems.Section Bpro
