Atfirst,thedoctorsonthebattlefieldsdidnotwantNightingaleandhernursesintheir
hospitals.Theydidnotbelievethatwomencouldhelp.Butinfact,thenursesdidmakea
difference.Theyworkedaroundtheclock,tendingthesick.Thankstotheirhardwork,many
