changingeconomyandgrowingmarketdemands.Somepeoplecanfullyuse
theirenergyandtime.Peoplealsowanttoincreasetheirincomewithout
losingthebenefitsofthe"iron-bowl".Howeversomepeoplethinkthetrend
alsocreatesproblems.Forexampleifateachertakesupasecondprofession
itwouldbeunlikelythathecanguranteethehighteachingquality.Afterall
schoolisaplaceforeducationandateacher'scareshouldbethestudentsnot
money.PersonallyIthinktakingupthesecondprofessioncanquickenthe
paceofeconomicdevelopmentenrichourexperienceandincreaseourincome.
Howeveritisnotadvisabletospendtoomuchtimeonitbecauseweneed
timetostudyfurtherandimproveourskillsseastocarryoutthedutyofour
firstprofessionwell.Neveroverreachourselvestofollowthefashion.As

SecondProfessionWiththequickenedreform,pace,takingupsecond
professionshasbecomeanewtrendinallwalksoflife.Nowmoreandmore
peoplearetakingpart-timejobs,whichhasconsitituedaseriousthreattofirst
professions.Manypeoplefeelpositiveabouttheincreasingnumberofpeople
pursuingsecondprofessions.Theysaythisisanaturaloutgrowthofthe

theirenergyandtime.Peoplealsowanttoincreasetheirincomewithout

itwouldbeunlikelythathecanguranteethehighteachingquality.Afterall,
schoolisaplaceforeducation,andateacher'scareshouldbethestudents,not
money.Personally,Ithinktakingupthesecondprofessioncanquickenthe
paceofeconomicdevelopment,enrichourexperienceandincreaseour
income.However,itisnotadvisabletospendtoomuchtimeonit,because
weneedtimetostudyfurtherandimproveourskillsseastocarryoutthe
dutyofourfirstprofessionwell.Neveroverreachourselvestofollowthe

7.MyViewonJobHoppingJobhoppingorfrequentchangesofjobsis
becomingmoreandmorecommoninChinatoday.Astheeconomygrows
moreopportunitiesforemploymentarearising.Theresultisthatpeople
especiallyyoungerpeoplearetemptedtochangejobsfrequentlyseeking
highersalariesormoreinterestingpositions.Neverthelessmanypeopleprefer
tostayintheiroldjobs.Thisispartlybecausetheyfeelloyaltotheirwork
unitsbutpartlyalsobecausetheydisliketheideaofhavingtospendmuch
timebeingtrainedforanewjob.Inadditionalthoughanewjobmayoffer
higherpayormorepromotionopportunitiesitmaybelocatedfarfromhome
andbeinconvenient.Ithinkitisagoodthingfortheworkforcetobeflexible
sothatnewdemandsforpersonnelcanemetquickly.Howeverifaperson
changesjobstoooftenheorshewillcauselosstotheemployingunits.

experienceanddevelopinggoodworkhabits.MyViewonJobHopping
Jobhopping,orfrequentchangesofjobs,isbecomingmoreandmore
commoninChinatoday.Astheeconomygrows,moreopportunitiesfor
employmentarearising.Theresultisthatpeople,especiallyyoungerpeople,
aretemptedtochangejobsfrequently,seekinghighersalariesormore
interestingpositions.Nevertheless,manypeopleprefertostayintheirold
jobs.Thisispartlybecausetheyfeelloyaltotheirworkunits,butpartlyalso
becausetheydisliketheideaofhavingtospendmuchtimebeingtrainedfor
anewjob.Inaddition,althoughanewjobmayofferhigherpayormore
promotionopportunities,itmaybelocatedfarfromhomeandbeinconvenient.
Ithinkitisagoodthingfortheworkforcetobeflexible,sothatnewdemands
forpersonnelcanemetquickly.However,ifapersonchangesjobstoooften
heorshewillcauselosstotheemployingunits.Moreover,frequent
jobhoppingpreventsapersongainingvaluablejobexperienceanddeveloping
goodworkhabits.

sometimesevenblacksmoke.Thisgreatlydegradedthequalityofair.As
peopleinhaledustparticlesandpollutedaireverydaytheirrespiratorysystem
isboundtobeaffected.Theotherproblemistherestlessnoise.Some
constructionsitesoperateafter8pmwhenmostpeopleneedalittlerest.The
noiseisnotnecessarilythunderousbutneverthelessdisturbing.Forpeople
whogotosleepearlythenoiseisdefinitelyanuisance.Ifthissituationgoes
onthecitizens'rightscannotbeguaranteed.Ithinktwomeasurescouldbe
takentosolvetheproblems.Firstconstructionworkisinevitablydustyand
noisybutlocalauthoritiescansetuphigherpollutioncontrolstandardand
restricttheworkinghours.Secondifsomesitesviolatetheregulationsmore
severepunishmentshouldbeimposedonthepeopleresponsible.Itismy
