In2024,theworldhasdrasticallychanged.Manypeoplehavebecome"houseslaves"or"mortgageprisoners"duetotherisingcostofhousing.Theterm"houseslave"isusedtodescribeindividualswhoaretrappedinacycleofdebtduetotheirinabilitytopayfortheirmortgage.Inthisarticle,wewillexplorethereasonsbehindtheriseof"houseslaves"anditsimpactonsociety.

Firstly,theincreaseinpropertypriceshasmadeitdifficultformanypeopletobuytheirownhomes.Thishasledtoanincreaseindemandforrentalproperties,whichhassubsequentlydrivenupthecostofrent.Asaresult,moreandmorepeopleareforcedtorent,withlittlechanceofeverbeingabletoowntheirownhome.
