Recently,thisunbelievablestoryhasagainbeenmakingtheroundsontheInternet,particularlyafterarerunoftheBBCshowcalled“That’sLife”,whichfeaturedSirWinton.Peoplearoundtheworldweremovedatthedetailsofthestory,withsayingittobethebeststorythey’veeverseen.
SirWintonkepthisentireplanpletelysecret,evenhiswifehadnoideaabouthisplanninguntilfiftyyearslater.Afterthewar,yearspassedandmanypeopleremainedinthedarkaboutSirWinton’sextraordinaryachievement.Somefiftyyearslater,hiswifeGretawassearchingintheirhouseanddiscoveredaWinton’snotebookwhichdocumentedthenamesofallthechildren.SheworkedwithBBCandtheyproducedaTVepisode(插曲)oftheirprogram“That’sLife”thatservedasanhonorforSirWinton’swork.
