arrive到達(dá),是不及物動(dòng)詞，后須加上in/at才能接表示地點(diǎn)的名詞。表示到達(dá)大城市或國家時(shí)要用arrivein,而到達(dá)鄉(xiāng)村，車站等小地方則要用arriveat。如：

get是不及物動(dòng)詞,常和to連用。但當(dāng)“到達(dá)”的地點(diǎn)是副詞（home,here,there）時(shí),to需要省略。如:

Igethomeat7:00pmeveryday．我每天晚上七點(diǎn)到家。

在談到火車、汽車等或乘客等到站時(shí)，通常用getin。如：

arrive

和get之后均可接here,there,home之類的表地點(diǎn)的副詞作狀語。如：

如果不指明到達(dá)的地點(diǎn)要用arrive。如:

till用作連詞用于肯定句時(shí)表示“直到…為止”,指某一動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)一直持續(xù)到till后面的句子所表示的時(shí)間為止,這時(shí)主句的謂語動(dòng)詞是延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞。till用于否定句時(shí)表示“在…以前,直到…才”,這時(shí)主句表示的是一種持續(xù)的否定狀態(tài),否定狀態(tài)一結(jié)束,肯定動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)就開始。
