夫子廟TheConfuciusTemple5TheConfuciusTempleinNanjingwasoriginallyconstructedintheyearof1034intheSongDynasty.ItwasaplacetoworshipandconsecrateConfucius,thegreatphilosopherandeducatorofancientChina.ItisalsoknownasFuzimiaoinChinese.Duringthelongprocess,theoriginalbuildingexpandedtobeacomplexbuildinginthearchitecturalstyleoftheMing(1368-1644)andQing(1644-1911)dynasties,includingtheConfuciusTempleitself,theJiangnanGongyuan(theplaceofimperialexaminations)andtheXueGong(theImperialAcademy).ThecomplexisstillcalledtheConfuciusTempleoutofhabitbylocalsandvisitors.TheConfuciusTempleinNanjin6InfrontoftheConfuciusTemple,theQinHuaiRiverisflowing.Onthesouthbankoftheriver,thereisthelongestscreenwallinChinawhichis110-meter-long(about120yards)andpiledwithbricks.
