Morrissettesaidhissonhadbeenbeatenbytwomen,thrownintheDumpsterandlefttofreeze.Hewasfoundafewhourslaterbyawomanwholethimout.“Iwasveryangrywiththeguyswhowoulddothistomyson,”MorrissettesaidinaninterviewThursday.“Youcanseehe’saharmlesschild.Hedoesn’ttalkmuch.Hekeepstohimselfandtwomenhavehurthim.”
Theyoungteenagerwasn’tseriouslyhurt,butMorrissettesaidhe’snotlettinghimwalkhomealoneanymore.Thefather’sfaithinhumanityisalittleshaken.Morrissettesaidhecannotbelievetherearepeopleouttherewhowouldpickonayoungboysimplywalkinghomefromschool.He’sonlybeenabletogetbitsandpiecesofwhathappenedfromMichealwhois“tooscaredtotalkaboutit”.
