From this lesson, it starts asking the Ss to grasp contents of Section A,to attain four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, There
2、fore this lesson is in the important position of the teaching material. lesson is the first one of Unit if the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit. a topic is related to the future, so it is helpful to raise learning interests of students and it will b
3、e also helpful to improve their spoken English.Analysis Of The StudentsThe Ss can understand some words and some sentences. Some of the Ss have taken a great interest in English now.Teaching Aims And Demands (1).Knowledge objects (a) To make the Ss know how to use “will” (b) To finish some exercises
4、.(2).Ability objects (a) To develop the Ss abilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing. (b) To train the Ss ability of working in pairs. (c) To develop the Ss abilities of communication by learning the useful structures.(3).Moral objects(Emotional attitudes and values) (a) To enable the Ss
5、 to imagine the future (b) To make sure our life will be better if we work hard.Teaching Key And Difficult Points(1).Key points: (a).To help the Ss to communicate with each other. (b).To enable the Ss to study in groups and co-operate skillfully. (c).To develop the Ss interest in English.(2).Difficu
6、lt points: (a) How to make dialogues and act them out. (b) How to compare different peoples personalities. Teaching AidsMulti-media computer, Software: Powerpoint ,. The Teaching Methods 1. Communicative teaching method 2. Audio-visual teaching method 3. Task-based” teaching method. As we all know:
7、the main instructional aims of learning English in the Middle School is to cultivate students abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and their good sense of the English language. So in this lesson Ill mainly use “Communicative” teaching method, “Audio-visual” teaching method and “Task-ba
8、sed” teaching method. . Studying Ways the Ss how to be successful language learners. the Ss get way of ObservationImitationPractice to study language. the Ss how to master dialogues and how to communicate with others.Teaching Procedure Step1 Warm-up Ask Ss to watch a cartoon about make the questions
9、:What is it about? Are the robots wonderful ? Check the answers. Purpose of my designing: I think it is important to form a better English learning surrounding for the Ss by imitating and at the same time it is necessary to provide situations to review learned knowledge.Step2. Presentation This cour
10、se is very important. Ill mainly talk about this step.Ill use PPt to present the pictures. Ask Ss to answer the questions above the pictures. Arrange some situations to help Ss understand the sentences.Ill write the key points on the Bb while they are watching. . . Will people have robots ? Yes, the
11、y will. No, they wont. Will there only be one county ? Yes, there will. No, there wont.After watching, Ill teach them to read the sentences on the Bb. Make sure they can read them well.Purpose of my designing: To present the sentences by PPT is much easier for the Ss to learn and grasp the meanings.
12、 PPT can provide a real situation with its sound and pictures and it makes the relationships between the Ss better.Working in pairs: Make the Ss work in pairs about 1a . After working, choose A for agree or D for disgree. At the same time, tell us the reasons.Listening: First listen to the recording
13、 from PPT and deal with 1b. Let the Ss listen and imitate the dialogue. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. Purpose of my designing: This step is employed to make the Ss get the general idea of the dialogue as a whole one. At the same time let the Ss have a chance to practise their
14、listening and spoken ability. In this step Ill give the Ss a chance to show their abilities.Make the Ss work in pairs about 1c. Then make the dialogues to practise the conversitions.Ill write a key point on the Bb while they are watching. People will have robots in their homes in 100 years. How soon
15、 will people have robots in their homes ?Ill give the Ss some tasks to make similar dialogues without repetition and find out which group will make more dialogues. Purpose of my designing: “Task-based” teaching method is used here to develop the Ss ability of communication and also their ability of
16、co-operation will be well trained. I think proper competition can arouse the Ss interest in English learning. If the Ss can finish this task well, they will benefit a lot in their spoken English. Step5. Summary: the simple future tense Step6. Education of emotional attitude and values : If we work h
17、ard,our life will be better and better. If we work hard, our country will be stonger and stronger .Step7. Homework: (1)Recite the words as many as possible after class. (2)Make a dialogue about comparative form and write it in the exercise book.
