The users can establish their own public relation circle on the basis of their requirements. based on the university campus,encourages the real -name system and simulates the

4、 real relationships aiming at establishing an open and transparent service networkThis report focuses on the influence caused by SNS on college students, such as how the real-name system works, what could happen under privacy protection environment and how it does feel to users, in addition, we stud

5、ied the multifunction of SNS and how we do stay in touch with our friends nowadays besides SNS method.Key word: SNS; renren ; the real-name system; interpersonal relationshipIntroduction:Social networking is a group of specific individuals, like small rural communities or a neighborhood subdivision.

6、 Although social networking is possible in person, especially in the workplace, universities, and high schools, it is most popular online.When it comes to online social networking, websites are commonly used. These websites are known as Social Networking Sites (SNS). The function of Social Networkin

7、g Sites likes an online community of internet users. Depending updating own information and sharing others on the website, many of these online community members share common interests in news, stories, goods, hobbies and so on. Once you are granted access to a Social Networking Sites, you can begin

8、 to socialize. This socialization may include reading the profile pages of other members and possibly even contacting them.The leading SNS in China, renren , began as a Facebook clone called Xiaonei - which means “on campus in Chinese. 9、05/content_8527265.htmchanged its name to Renren, which means everybody. Renren had 70 million registered users at that point. It is an empirical study and the writer analyzed the data obtained by questionnaires done by the users of renren The Survey Design: Methodology and ProcedureFirstly, the writer made questionnaires concerned with details of SN

11、S using, distributed them to students in Beihang campus. At the same time, the writer obtained several answers of the questionnaire from Internet, which should reveal the universality better.Secondly, the writer had careful analysis on the results of survey, based on multitudinous information and re

12、sources gathered on the books and Internet.Finally, the writer filed documents and accomplished the report.Results and Analysis of SurveyAfter getting the statistical data according to the answers of questionnaire, we calculated and analyzed the data so that obtained some graphics displaying the fac

13、ts of what we studied. We focus on the influence caused by SNS on college students, such as how the real-name system works, what could happen under privacy protection environment and how it does feel to users, in addition, we studied the multifunction of SNS and how we do stay in touch with our frie

With its development, high schools and white-collars were added to renren in order to reach a wider range of users. Nowadays, is “the Facebook in China and one of most powerful web2.0 platforms in China.How the real-n

16、ame system worksCompared with BBS, blogs and other forms of SNS, the degree of real name of renren is absolutely higher, recently reaching as high as 93.0%. In this identity identified network community, the maintenance and development of interpersonal relationship deserve to being discussed.As for

17、the reasons, the real-name system plays an important and dynamic role working on previous relationship maintenance and fresh ones expanding.What could happen under privacy protection environment and how it does feel to usersAs what are displayed in the graph, by means of SNSs, every user can present

However, users of social networking site have more control over their self-presentational behavior than in face-to-face communication and users cannot tailor their self-presentations to the specific interaction partne
