3、 Make a list with your partner.Look at the six pictures. Each of them is showing something famous from one particular country. Can you guess the countries? Work with your partner and write down your guesses. If you dont know the English words, you can write in Chinese. What areas of cultural traditi

4、on does each picture show?1. a dish and/or drink2. music3. a festival4. traditional clothes / costumes / dance5. a symbol of the country or culture6. a handicraftImagine that someone asks you to name something that shouldnt be missed on a visit to China. It can be anything; it doesnt have to be a pl

5、ace. What would you suggest?ListeningListen to four people talk about their countrys culture. What four aspects do they talk about? Listen and write the answers. Before we start, lets get to know these countries first. Now we will read and listen to the text again. What do you learn about the people

6、 who made those traditional things?GrammarThe maker of the traditional thing is not known or not important, for example, do we know who made the kim-bap? So we say:Kim-bap is made with rice and vegetables. (without mentioning the maker)Whats the national anthem? When _is it sung_ (sing)?Whats your f

It generally means “What Im saying is not surprising- its what you would expect. Of course can also be used as response to show that you agree with or understand what someone has said. Be careful to avoid using of course in answer to questions. It is not quite the same as the response absolutely and can sound rude or abrupt because it has the meaning of What do you expect? or How could you suggest otherwise?”Lets take a look at an example.
