22、in the market yesterday when the fire started.昨天發(fā)生火災(zāi)時(shí), 我正 好在市 場(chǎng)里。 用于 It happened that旬型。如:It happened that we were neighbors at that time.那時(shí)我們恰好是鄰居。上面提到的兩種結(jié)構(gòu)可以互相轉(zhuǎn)換,如: Ithappened that I had no money with me.=I happened to have no money with me. promise 常見用法: A . n. “承諾,諾言。如: Give me your promise that

24、eech。接引語(yǔ)和間接引語(yǔ))直 接引述別人的原話,叫直接引語(yǔ)。用自己的話轉(zhuǎn)述別人的話,叫間接引語(yǔ)。問接 引語(yǔ)在多數(shù)情況下構(gòu)成賓語(yǔ)從句。直接引語(yǔ)一般前后要加引號(hào),間接引語(yǔ)不用引號(hào)。 如:Mr. Black said, I like playing football. (直接引語(yǔ))Mr. Black said that he liked playing football.(間接引語(yǔ))1.直接引語(yǔ)如果是陳述句,變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)時(shí),用連詞that引導(dǎo)(that在口語(yǔ)中常省略),從句中的人稱、時(shí)態(tài)、 指示代詞、時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)、地點(diǎn)狀語(yǔ)等要根據(jù)具體語(yǔ)境作相應(yīng)變化。在這一方面,漢語(yǔ)和英語(yǔ)有許多相似之外,因此,在做直接
25、引語(yǔ)和間接引語(yǔ)轉(zhuǎn)換練習(xí)時(shí),要特別注意句子的意思。 (1)人稱的變化 A. He said: I want to see you. He said that the wanted to see him. B. He said to me, “I ve left my book in your room.He told to me that he had left his book in my room. (2)時(shí)態(tài)變化 如主句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞 是一般過去時(shí),直接引語(yǔ)引語(yǔ)時(shí),從句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞在時(shí)態(tài)方面要作相應(yīng)的變化。(如主句的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞是現(xiàn)在時(shí),從句的時(shí)態(tài)則無(wú)需變化。)一般現(xiàn)在時(shí) 一般過去時(shí).He said

31、o 3 days (weeks, month, years, hours, )before 注意: a.直 接引語(yǔ)如果是客觀真理,變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)時(shí),時(shí)態(tài)不變。如:He said, Light travels much faster than sound. He said that light travels much faster than sound. b 口果在 當(dāng)?shù)剞D(zhuǎn)述,here不必必為there,動(dòng)詞come不必改為go。如果在當(dāng)時(shí)、當(dāng)天、 當(dāng)月、當(dāng)年等語(yǔ)境中轉(zhuǎn)述, today, yesterday, tomorrow, next week, last year等時(shí) 問狀 語(yǔ)也不必改變。
32、2.轉(zhuǎn)述祈使句時(shí),要將祈使句的動(dòng)詞原形變?yōu)閹o的不定式,并且在不定式的前面根據(jù)句子的意思加上tell, ask, order等動(dòng)詞,如果祈使句為否定式,在不定式的前面加not。例如:She said to us, “please sitdown. She asked us to sit down. He said: Dont make so much noise, boys. He told the boys not to make so much noise. 3#接引語(yǔ)如為疑問句,變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)時(shí), 須將疑問句的語(yǔ)序改為陳述句的語(yǔ)序,句未 用句號(hào)。其人稱、時(shí)態(tài)等相應(yīng)的變 化與轉(zhuǎn)述陳述句的間
33、接引語(yǔ)相同。1) 一般疑問句 直接引語(yǔ)如果是一般疑問句, 變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)時(shí), 經(jīng)以構(gòu)成連詞 whether或if導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從 句,句未用句號(hào)。 主句中的謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞是 said時(shí),要改為asked.沒有間接賓語(yǔ)時(shí),有時(shí) 可以加一 個(gè)間接賓語(yǔ)。如: He said, “Are you interested in English?” He asked me if / whether I was interested in English. He said, Did you see him last night ? ” He asked me whether I had seen him last nigh
34、t. 2)殊疑問旬 9直接引語(yǔ)如為特殊疑問句,變?yōu)殚g接引語(yǔ)時(shí),構(gòu)成用原來的疑問詞引導(dǎo)的賓語(yǔ)從 句,并須將疑問式改為陳述句結(jié)構(gòu),句未用句號(hào)。如: “What do you want? he asked me. He asked me what I wanted.
