1、3rd period Important language points(1) 教材分析 The emphasis of this period will be placed on the important new words, expressions and sentence patterns in this unit. In order to make students understand these important points thoroughly, we can first get students to understand their meanings in the co

2、ntext, then give some explanations about them, and later offer some practice to make students master their usage. 1. 學(xué)情分析Language points are the fundamental of learning English; however our students are all afraid of learning English, especially for some complicated language points. 2. 教學(xué)目標(biāo)1.知識(shí)目標(biāo)1).

3、 Get students to learn and grasp the important and useful new words and expressions in this part. 2).Let students learn the following important and useful sentence patterns. 2.能力目標(biāo)1). Get studennts to use some useful new words and expressions correctly.2). Enable students to make sentences with the

Enable students to grasp the usage of such important new words and expressions as, impression ,take up,surrounding,lake, lose sight of ,sweep up, switch,constantly,be back on one's feet,fasten,slide into ,etc. 2. Worried about the journey, I was unsettled for the first few days. 因?yàn)閾?dān)心旅程,開始的頭幾天我很不安。  此處 Worried about the journey的作用相當(dāng)于一個(gè)原因狀語(yǔ)從句As I was worried about the journey,在句中作狀語(yǔ)5. This is similar to the “jet lag” you get from flying, but it seems you keep getting flashbacks from your pr

15、evious time period. 這種病有些像乘噴氣式飛機(jī)高速飛行時(shí)所引起的時(shí)差反應(yīng)那樣,所不同的是,它意味著你的腦海里不停地從以前的時(shí)間段一直往回閃去。1)be similar to  與相似be the same as  與相同be different from  與不同2)you get是定語(yǔ)從句,修飾the “jet lag”, 省略了關(guān)系代詞which/that(作get的賓語(yǔ));when flying是省略句,省略了主語(yǔ)you和謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的一部分were;instead位于句首或句末,作狀語(yǔ),引出與上文不同的內(nèi)容。3) jet lag指噴氣式飛行時(shí)

16、差綜合癥,即乘飛機(jī)跨越時(shí)區(qū)時(shí),人體的生物鐘或晝夜生理節(jié)律仍然停留在原時(shí)區(qū)的狀態(tài),從而與新時(shí)區(qū)不同步。flashback往事;往回閃現(xiàn)。4) previous adj.先前的;以往的;(時(shí)間上)稍前的 No previous experience is necessary for this job.這一工作無(wú)需相關(guān)的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. 18、語(yǔ)從句,表示他父母的“Future  Tours”公司能夠把我運(yùn)送到未來(lái)的原因2) named “Future Tours”是過(guò)去分詞作定語(yǔ),相當(dāng)于定語(yǔ)從句that was named “Future Tours”7. Hit by the lack of fresh air, 缺乏新鮮空氣我感覺受不了。1) lack 用作名詞表示:“缺乏;短缺”;用作動(dòng)詞表示:“缺乏;短缺;沒有;不足”。a lack of food /money/skills  缺乏食物/金錢/技能做一做:The trip was cancelled through_.因?yàn)槿狈εd趣這次旅行被取
