16、否定式疑問句使語氣顯得更委婉,更容易為對方所接受。通常也可以用Why not do?來表達(dá)。Why dont you go to bed earlier?=Why not go to bed earlier?你為何不早點(diǎn)睡覺?二.連詞until, so that和although1.until常見用法有以下兩種情況:如果主句的謂語動(dòng)詞是持續(xù)性動(dòng)詞(如live, stay, work, read, study, write, watch, talk, run, walk, sing等)時(shí),則一般用其肯定形式與until連用,表示這個(gè)動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)一直持續(xù)到until后所接的時(shí)間到來為止。如果主句的謂

17、語動(dòng)詞是終止性動(dòng)詞(如go, come, leave, begin, start, open, close, find, see等)時(shí),則一般用其否定形式與until連用,表示這個(gè)動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)一直到until后所接的時(shí)間到來時(shí)才發(fā)生。I watched TV until she came back.我看電視一直看到她回來。You shouldnt eat anything until you see the doctor.看過醫(yī)生后,你才能吃東西。2.so that“以便/為了”引導(dǎo)目的狀語從句。Please open the window so that we can breathe fres

18、h air.請把窗戶打開以便我們能呼吸新鮮的空氣。3.although=though意為“雖然;即使;縱然”,引導(dǎo)讓步狀語從句。【注意】although和but不可用于同一個(gè)句中。Although he is very old, he is quite strong.他雖然年紀(jì)很大了,但還很強(qiáng)壯。三.should與could常用于征求意見,提建議的句子中。could意為“可以”,常表示提議、請求,比can更委婉客氣。Could you help me?你能幫我嗎?should意為“應(yīng)該”,表示勸告、建議,沒有must語氣強(qiáng)烈。What should I do?我怎么辦?I think you
