1、Adverbs of frequency and place Adverbs of frequency (頻度副詞頻度副詞)e.g.: always, constantly, frequently, hardly ever, never, often, rarely, seldom, scarcely ever, sometimes, usually occasionally etc. Words that tell us how often something happens are adverbs of frequency;Sometimes we can see phrases that

2、 show how often something happens, e.g.: every now and then, every ten days , once a week, from time to time etc. Adverbs of frequency often lie before the main verbs and after the first auxiliary verb; the phrases often come towards the end of the sentence.Adverbs of place (地點(diǎn)副詞地點(diǎn)副詞) Words that tel

3、l us where something happens are adverbs of place, e.g.: above, below, up, down, here, there, upstairs, downstairs, anywhere, everywhere, elsewhere etc.Some phrases also can tell us where something happens, e.g.: in the west, between the houses, at the end of the road etc.Adverbs of place and phrase
