14、time+that從句”意為:“ -多久了”。此句為強調(diào)句,去掉Its 和that之后,剩下部分必須是個完整的句子。 如:Its ten years that Ive lived here for.我在這兒居住已經(jīng)長達十年了。 原句為:Ive lived here for ten years.(3)“Its +some time+ when從句”意為:“-是在某個時刻”。When從句是定語從句,要求從句的時態(tài)和Its的is/was對應。 如:It was ten years ago when I graduated.我畢業(yè)十年前。(4) “Its + some time +before從句”意
15、為:“過了多久-才-”。Before從句的時態(tài)必須是一般過去時;Its=it is。如:Its ten years before I graduated.過了十年,我才畢業(yè)。3. Its interesting to see how people have changed.看人們是如何變化的很有趣。此句為“It be+形容詞+(for/of sb.)to do -”句型結(jié)構(gòu)。句中的It是形式主語,動詞不定式短語 to see-是真正的主語,這個句子可寫成:To see how people have changed is interesting.如:Its good to help each
16、other.可以寫成:To help each other is good.幫助別人很不錯?!就卣埂?1)英語中,如果作主語用的不定式短語太長,則通常采用本句型結(jié)構(gòu)。將it置于句首,而將真的主語置于句尾,以避免“頭重腳輕”的現(xiàn)象。(2)用不定式復合結(jié)構(gòu)(即for/of sb.to do)作真正的主語時,for sb.前通常使用表示客觀情況的形容詞,如:easy(容易的), hard(困難的), difficult(困難的), important(重要的), interesting(有趣的)等;of sb.前通常使用表示主觀感情、態(tài)度,人物的性格、品德的形容詞,如:good(好的),kind(善
17、良的),nice(好的),clever(聰明的),foolish(傻的)等。如: It is important for us to learn English well.對于我們來說,學好英語很重要。 Its really nice of you to help me.你幫助我真是太好了。4. She explained that there are many good things, like being able to travel and meet new people all the time. 她解釋說有很多好的事情,像能夠旅游并能見到一些沒見過的人。(1)all the time
18、 意為“一直、總是”,側(cè)重于一段時間內(nèi)連續(xù)的動作,或時間上的不間斷,表示始終如一、沒有停止,通常位于句子末尾。如:It rained all the time. 雨一直下個不停。(2)like 為介詞,后面加動名詞doing做其賓語,而meet和travel并列,共用了一個being able to。5.Only a very small number of people make it to the top. 只有非常小的一部分人才能夠達到頂端。(1)“a number of+名詞復數(shù)”,意為“許多,相當多”,其中心詞是后面的復數(shù)名詞,相當于many;作主語時,謂語動詞用復數(shù)形式,可用lar
19、ge, small等形容詞修飾number。如: A large number of foreign people were present at the meeting.相當多的外國人出席了會議。(2)“the number of”意為“-的數(shù)目、數(shù)量”,“the number of+名詞復數(shù)”這一結(jié)構(gòu)中心詞是number,不是后面的名詞復數(shù),因此作主語時,謂語動詞必須與the number呼應用第三人稱單數(shù)形式。如: The number of students in our class is 45. 我們班的學生數(shù)是45。 (3)make it 成功,make it to the top

23、它的陳述句的肯定形式:主語used to動詞原形。例如:I used to play with my friends after school. 過去放學后我常常和朋友們一起玩。 2. 它的否定形式:主語didntuse to動詞原形?;騯sednt to例如:You didnt use to like pop songs. 你過去常常不喜歡流行歌曲。 3. 它的一般疑問句形式:Did主語use to動詞原形其他或Used -to例如:Did your sister use to be quiet? 你的妹妹過去常常是很安靜嗎?4. used to的狀語可以用副詞always,often,so

42、: He wants his parents to pay more attention to him.他想要他的父母更多地關(guān)注他。 (4)在that 引導的賓語從句中,又出現(xiàn)了一個since引導了的時間狀語從句。這時,主句用現(xiàn)在完成時,動詞為延續(xù)性動詞;since引導的時間狀語從句用一般過去時,動詞用瞬時動詞。如:She has lived here since she moved here.自從她搬到這里,就一直住在這里。6.His parents love has made him feel good about himself. 他父母的愛使他找到了自尊。(1)ones love 某人
43、的愛,為抽象名詞,不可數(shù),所以接單數(shù)的謂語動詞。(2)feel good about oneself 讓某人找到自尊,讓某人自信。7.The mother traveled for many hours to return home to talk to her child in person.那位母親走了好幾個小時回家親自和孩子談話。 (1)return 表“返回”講,為不及物動詞。表示“返回某處”,要用“return to+地點”。如:return to Beijing回到北京。加副詞時,不用to。如:return home回家。此時return相當于 go back。return表“歸還
44、”講,為及物動詞,可直接加賓語。意思等同于give back。如:return the book to Tom 把書還給Tom。(2)do sth in person 親自做某事。如:I will finish the task in person.我將親自完成這項任務。8.The teacher takes pride in helping his students win the English competition.那位老師以幫助他的學生贏得英語競賽而自豪。(1)take pride in 以-為自豪。意思類似于be proud of 后面加名詞、代詞賓格或動名詞。如:We all t
