Ill provide a real situation for the Ss to practice the drills. Part 2 Analysis of the students The students of Grade 5 are lovely and acti

3、ve . they are good at listening, speaking and acting. They are also interested in English. They have mastered the words of the food.They can speak and understand the sentences_,and they can communicate with each other in English.Part 3. It can review the words

8、and learnt knowledge for the next step. It can lead the Ss into the real surrounding of English studying.2.Free talk. They can do communication freely and then lead in the new sentences.Step2 Presentation1.This step is to form a better situation for the Ss by speaking and singing.They can do communi

9、cation freely.2.Teach the main sentences.3.By this step, it can help the Ss understand and talk about the dialogue of this lesson.Step3 Pactice.1.Listen to the tape.This step is to develop the Ss abilities of listening carefully.2.Read the dialogue in different ways. This step is to improve Ss readi

10、ng ability, at the same time it make the Ss prepared for the acting task.3.Pair work.For this step, the Ss can exchange the information during the communicating activities.Step4 Consolidation and extension.1.This step ,let Ss practice the sentences.It can improve the Ss ability of using language.Ste

S: T: Do you usually on Saturdays and Sundays?S:At this step I want to communicate with the students, and lead in the new sentences.We call Saturdays and Sundays “weekends”. 13、word “weekends”. Ill ask them the Q: What do you usually do at the weekends? Then write the title “Unit 8 At the weekends” on the blackboard and read it. (PPT呈現(xiàn)) After that Ill present the new sentence “How do you spend your weekends?” , (PPT呈現(xiàn))ask and answer with the Ss. During this time, Ill teach

14、 the new phrases: watch the cartoons and catch butterflies. (PPT呈現(xiàn)圖片) CAI shows a calendar, it means “often”, it means “sometimes:At this step, CAI shows a calendar, it can help the students understand the differences between “sometimes” and “often”. 15、ou spend your weekends? S2: Next, Ill talk about while-reading. At the first step , Ill say Just now we talked about our weekends, the children are talking their weekends too.
