The Greeks had wonderful stories about the Gods and Goddesses who were part of their religion. 2.Is there anybody who can tell us some Greek legends? You know they are so famous in human history. They believed that Gods (or Goddesses) would help humans if they felt sorry for them or if the humans were good people. To try to get the support of the Gods, people had to pray for them and offer them presents. Purpose: To review some words related to the passage and stimulate Ss interest in fairy tales about the ancient Olympic Games.Next, we will learn a story which is related to it.Step 2. Reading 1.
