英語公開課教學(xué)教案教學(xué)內(nèi)容:Unit 2 Section 3 Grammar focus can & cant授課班級:13.8 授課人:曾熙美 STEP 1. Revision 1) Greetings 2)Go over the finger game Five Little Monkeys.STEP 2. Lead in Show a picture of YaoMing with PPT, and ask, Do you know this man ? Yes, its YaoMing. He is a basketball player. So we can say he can play basketball.(write down this sentence on the blackboard ). Then show another picture of Yang Liping. “she is an extremely excellent dancer, and she dances very well. So she can dance.” (write down this sentence on the blackboard ). Show the pictures of students drawn by themselves. And say, “there are many pictures in my hands. They are drawn by you. And I think you draw very well. So we can say “ You can draw”. (write down this sentence on the blackboard ). But I cant draw.” Then let ss to read the sentences together. Then say, “please watch these sentences carefully, what can you find out ? Yes, there is a CAN in every sentence. (underline “can” in every sentence).and tell ss, “ Our new lesson is about this word CAN.” (Write “CAN ” on the blackboard.) Then ask ss “Can you understand this word? it means “能,會in Chinese. it is a model verb. and how to use it ?” OK,它用來表能力。某人會做某事,we use CAN;某人不會做某事,we use CANT. (Write “cant ” on the blackboard.) Step 3. Drill Show four pairs of pictures to talk about what people can do.1) I can play baseball. We can play baseball.2) Mary can sing. They can sing.3) She can swim. They can swim.4) The girl can ride a bike. They can ride bikes.Then show some actions and some dolls to talk about what people cant do.1). I cant sing this song. (I will sing the song wrongly)2). The doll cant run.3). The dolls cant run.Next 由 “The dolls cant run. ”導(dǎo)入can的一般疑問句以及它的肯定和否定回答 Can you run? yes, I can。 Can the dolls run? No, they cant.Then show box 1,2, 3, and let ss read the sentences together. And then help ss make a conclusion : Sb can do;Sb cant doCan sb do ?肯定回答:Yes, sb can.否定回答:No, sb cant.Then give a conclusion: 情態(tài)動詞can的用法口訣。v 情動can表能力,動詞原形后面站。v 不管主語何變換,can模樣永不變。v 一般疑問can提前,否定can后not添。Step 4. Practice1) Practice “can sb do”? and the answers. Show two pairs of pictures on PPT, help ss to answer the questions, such as:Can you play the guitar?Yes, I can/cant.Can he play the guitar?No, I cant.And then ask ss to read together.2) Play a gameAsk and answer one by one in a group.Firstly let ss to read the sentences on the PPT, and then ask ss to play the game. Tell ss they can use the verbs I offered for them. 3) Practice “what can sb do? ”Practice this sentence with the pictures of SUPER STAR.What can she do?She can sing. Can she sing well? Yes, she can.Can she play basketball?No, she cant.4). Activity Make conversations with “can” or “cant.”Firstly let ss to read the sentences on the PPT, and then ask ss to play the game. Tell ss they can use the verbs I offered for them. Modal A:A: I can dance.B: Can she/he dance? C: Yes, she/he can.Modal B: A: I cant dance.B: Can she/he dance? C: No, she/he cant. 5).
