一、教材分析：

本單元的主題是“逆境與勇氣”，主要圍繞英國探險(xiǎn)家沙克爾頓及其

“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)''船員的南極內(nèi)容分析探險(xiǎn)展開。其經(jīng)歷大致如下:沙克爾頓

帶領(lǐng)的“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)”探險(xiǎn)隊(duì)于1914年8月從倫敦出發(fā)，探限目標(biāo)是橫穿

南極大陸。然而，由于被浮冰圍困，他們不得不棄船居住在浮冰之

±o隨著浮冰不斷碎裂變小，船員們又被迫流落到無人的象島。為

了挽救被圍困的船員，沙克爾頓帶領(lǐng)救援小隊(duì)乘救生艇赴南喬治亞

島捕鯨站求助。最終，在他們的不懈努力下，所有人獲救，于1917

年春天返回倫敦。由于沙克爾頓與“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)”船員的南極探險(xiǎn)過程復(fù)

雜、情節(jié)曲折，編者將故事連貫地鋪陳在本單元的各個(gè)板塊，使板

塊之間環(huán)環(huán)相扣，內(nèi)容細(xì)節(jié)前后呼應(yīng)。本單元的引言來自英國著名

作家塞繆爾?約翰遜，句子的意思是:偉大的作品不是靠力量，而是

靠堅(jiān)持來完成的。perseverance一詞在此句中被翻譯成“堅(jiān)持此外，

它還常被翻譯為“毅力”“韌性”“不屈不撓”等含義。

二、文本分析：

活動(dòng)主題:該板塊的主題是“探討冒險(xiǎn)精神"(Explorethespiritof

adventure)o這一板塊展現(xiàn)了探險(xiǎn)家沙克爾頓招募船員、少年珀西登

上“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)”、“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)”被困并沉沒、船員登陸象島、沙克爾頓組隊(duì)

求援的大致過程，其中每一個(gè)事件都伴隨著對相關(guān)人物的考驗(yàn)，展

現(xiàn)了探險(xiǎn)家和船員們不畏艱險(xiǎn)、不懼困難的精神。在學(xué)習(xí)這一板反

塊時(shí)，學(xué)生一方面要結(jié)合歷史背景理解探險(xiǎn)家和船員們所面臨的極

從而發(fā)現(xiàn)“成功的失敗”背隱藏的相:領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者危不亂、敢于擔(dān)當(dāng)船員樂

觀積極、團(tuán)結(jié)奮進(jìn)，領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者與船員之間互相尊重、彼此信任。文本

分析:閱讀文本分為兩個(gè)部分，一部分是背景知識(shí)介紹，另一部分是

以“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)”服務(wù)員珀西?布萊克博羅的口吻寫下的三篇日記。從沙克

爾頓帶領(lǐng)“堅(jiān)忍號(hào)''船員于倫敦啟航，直到他們?nèi)炕氐接?，這一

歷程長達(dá)兩年多。
