用于findoneself(1)后接賓語補(bǔ)足語，含有出乎意料的意味，表示（突然）發(fā)現(xiàn)自己處于某種狀態(tài)或來到某地方。如：Hewokeupandfoundhimselfinhospital.他醒來時(shí)發(fā)現(xiàn)自己在醫(yī)院里。HereturnedtoEnglandtofindhimselffamous.他回到英國，發(fā)現(xiàn)自己竟出了名。(2)表示發(fā)現(xiàn)自己的真實(shí)能力、性格、愿望等。如：Marytriedseveraljobsbutatlastfoundherselfasateacher.瑪麗試做了幾種工作，但最后發(fā)現(xiàn)自己還是適合當(dāng)老師。(3)指某人身體方面的自我感覺。如：Howdoyoufindyourselftoday?今天你覺得身體怎樣?

狀語從句的省略
