ThiscodeisdevelopedbyChinaPetroleumandChemicalCorporationandSinopecLuoyang

PetrochemicalEngineeringCorporationincooperationwithotherinvolvedorganizationsinaccordance

withtherequirementsofDocumentJIANBIAO〔2006〕No.136issuedbyoriginalMinistryof

Construction(MOC)ofthePeoplesRepublicofChinathePlanforDevelopingandRevisingNational

-

EngineeringConstructionStandards(2ndGroup)in2006.

Inpreparingthiscode,thedevelopmentteammadeextensiveinvestigationsandsummarizedthe

practicesonthelowtemperaturesteelstoragetanksinpetrochemicalengineering,madereferencesto

internationalstandardsandadvancedforeignstandards,solicitedthecommentsfromallinvolved

parties,andthenfinalizedthiscode.

Thiscodecomprises10chaptersand5appendixes,andmainlycoversGeneralProvisions,Terms,

BasicRequirements,Materials,DesignofMetallicComponents,DesignofConcreteStructures,

Insulation,F(xiàn)abrication,InspectionandAcceptanceofMetallicComponents,ConcreteConstructionand

Themainphysicalpropertiesofgasesstoredinthelowtemperaturesteelstoragetanksfor

forlowtemperaturesteelstoragetanksforpetrochemicalservicesshallincludetheinformationindicated

Seismicdesignshallbemadeforthelowtemperaturesteelstoragetanksforpetrochemical

inAppendixCofthiscode.

Vapourbarriermaybeprovidedfortheouterprestressedconcretetank.Theliquidtightnessof

theprestressedconcretestructure,withoutaliquidtightliner,shallbeensuredbytheminimum

compressionzoneintheconcretestructure.

Allinletsandoutletsshould,preferably,bemadeattheroofofthetank.Incaseswherebottom

directionshallnotexceed125timestheratiooftankdiametertoheight;thedifferentialsettlementatthe

perimetershallnotexceed10mmeach10mofcircumference,andthedifferentialsettlement(inmm)

betweenthetankcenterandtheperimetershallnotexceed1/240ofthetankradius.

Forconcretestoragetanks,theirplaneinclinationshallnotexceed1/500,andthedifferential

settlementbetweenthetankcenterandtheperimetershallnotexceed1/300ofthetankradius.

Provisionsagainstfrostheaveinfoundationshallbedesignedforthelowtemperaturesteel

storagetankforpetrochemicalservice.Thefoundationheatingsystem,ifrequired,shallbedesignedso

thatthetemperatureofthefoundationshallnotdropbelow0℃atanyplace.

Thermalprotectionsystemshallbeprovidedfortheprestressedconcretesecondarycontainer.

3.2.11-

Thethermalprotectionsystemshallcoverthewholebottomandthelower專用partofthewall,andshall

consistofsteelplates(doublebottom)andinsulationmaterial.

Theheightoftheverticalpartofthethermalprotectionsystemshallbedeterminedbasedon

temperaturedistributionandthedeformationoftherigidcorner.

Protectionagainsttheimpactoflightningshallbeprovidedforthelowtemperaturesteel

storagetanksforpetrochemicalservices,andshallbeinaccordancewiththecurrentnationalstandard

CodefordesignprotectionofstructureagainstlightningGB50057,andCodefordesignprotectionof

petrochemicalplantagainstlightningGB50650.

Firefightingfacilitiesforlowtemperaturesteelstoragetanksforpetrochemicalservicesshallbe
