onvenientfortheirownextraction,suchasneartheirhome,attheirhomeandbesidetheircompany,etc.Theseuncivilizedbehaviorsalsomakealotofsharedbicycleslosetheiroriginalvalue,whichareextremelyunfavorabletosavepublicresources.Somepeopleintentionallydamageorlosesharedbicyclesandalsoliketousetheirownlockstoreusethemafterfirstusingthem,whichgreatlyincreasestheoperatingcostofbikesharing.Besidesthat,somelawlesspeoplechangetheQRcodeonthebicyclestodefraudotherusers'money.Somepeoplewereswindled,andtheydon'twanttousesharedbicyclesanymore,whichisalsoalossofsharingbikeoperation.Inadditiontotheaspectsmentionedabove,theemergenceofbikesharinghasacertainimpactonthetraditionalbicycleindustry.Whenmanypeoplestarttousesharedbicycles,fewerandfewerpeoplewillpayattentiontothetraditionalones,sothetraditionalbicycleindustryhasbeengreatlyaffected.Manybicycleshopscannotoperatenormally,sothattheywerecloseddown,thenumberofbicyclerepairshopsisalsodecreasing,andmanypeoplehavelosttheirjobs.Sotheriseofbikesharingisadouble-edgedsword.Whilebringingmanybenefitstothesociety,bikesharingwillinevitablybeaccompaniedbysomedisadvantages.Inthesameway,thedevelopmentofbikesharinghasexperiencedcircuitousprocessandturnswithadvantagesanddisadvantages.TheDevelopmentProcessofBikeSharingThedevelopmentofbikesharingmodeisnotsmoothsailing.Indifferentperiods,bikesharingmodesalsohaveexperienceddifferentdevelopingprocesses.“However,nomatterthedevelopmentofbikesharingisgoodorbad,itsdevelopmentofbikesharingisalsoinlinewiththedevelopmenttrendofthetimes.”(Xu,2019).TheInitialDevelopmentofBikeSharingIn1965,thefirstgenerationofsharedbicyclesappeared.ThefirstbicyclewiththeconceptofsharingoriginatedinAmsterdam,theNetherlands.Peoplecallthefirstgenerationofsharedbicycles“WhiteBicycles”program.Thisplanusesordinarybicycles,whichisacompletepuregovernmentpublicwelfareproject.Peoplecanusebicyclesforfree,andbicycleshavenofixedsitetopark,peoplecanparkthemeverywhere.Theprojectiswidelybelievedtobetheoriginoftheworld'sfirstpublicbikesharingsystem.Butintheend,duetothedamageofalargenumberofbicyclestogetherwiththeftandotherproblems,theprojectplanwasinterrupted.In1995,thesecondgenerationofsharedbicyclesappearedinCopenhagen,Denmark,whichisthefirstbatchofsystematicpublicbicyclesintheworld.Inordertoensuresupervisionandmanagement,theprojectsetupafixedsite,introducedtheconceptofdepositbicycle,andreturnedusers'depositwhentheyreturnedthebicycle.ThethirdgenerationofsharedbicyclesappearedinEurope.In1998,thepublicbicyclerentalbusinessinEuropebegantousecomputer,wirelesscommunicationandInternettechnologytorealizedigitaloperationandmanagement.Thistypeofbicyclesusethecustomizeddesign,hasafixedsite,usesthesmartcard(needtoprovidepersonalinformationregistration)topickupthebicycle,andusesitwithin30minutesforfree,andchargesasmallamountoffeesformorethan30minutes.ThefourthgenerationofsharedbicyclesappearedinShanghaiin2016.Therefore,itsdevelopingprocesscanbeillustratedasfollows:Sharingconceptasfollows:SharingconceptWiththerapiddevelopmentofmobileInternet,theInternetsharedbicyclesledbyofoappeared,whichledtothedevelopmenttrendofsharingeconomy.Themoreconvenientsharedbicycleswithoutstakesitebegantoreplacethepublicbicycleswithstakesite.In2014,ofowasfoundedinPekingUniversity.Aftertheestablishmentofofo,lotsofcollegestudentsbegantouseit.Thepopularityofofohasrisenatthattime.Accordingtostatistics,bytheendofOctober2015,thenumberofofobicycleshasreached20000.ItcanbesaidthattheemergenceofofohascreatedanewwayofbikesharingintheeraofInternetsharingeconomy.In2016,anewtypebicyclemobikesuccessfullywaslaunchedinShanghai,andstartedanewvision“mobikelite”inthesTahmeesuycecaers.sofofoandmobikehasledtotheemergenceanddevelopmentofmanyotherbikesharingenterprises.Accordingtoincompletestatistics,morethan20bikesharingenterprisesbegantoputintooperationin2016.Atthesametime,variousenterpriseshaveraisedfundstoexpandthescaleofbikesharingindustry.Inoneyear,thefinancingamountofbikesharingindustryhasexceeded3billionyuan.Inadditiontoofoandmobike,thesmallandmediumsizedenterprisessuchasXiaomingbicycleandBluegogohaverisenrapidly.Withthesuccessivefinancing,thebikesharingbicycleindustryseemstobefullofprospects.In2015,thenumberofusersofsharedbicycleswasonly2.45million,whilein2016,thenumberofitsusersreachedanamazing18.86million,anincreaseof700%yearonyear,sowecanseethattheearlystageofbikesharingisdevelopingrapidlyandfullofprospectsandvitality.(Thedatacanbepresentedinthefollowingchart)TheMiddleandLaterPeriodDevelopmentofBikeSharing2016and2017arethegoldenyearsfortherapiddevelopmentofbikesharingmode.Dozensofbikesharingenterprisescompetewitheachotherandarededicatedtopreemptingthemarket.In2017,themarketscaleanduserscaleofdomesticbikesharingexpandedrapidly,andthemarketcompetitionisbecomingmoreandmorefierce.Accordingtodataanalysis,intermsofuserscale,bikesharinghasbecometheInternetapplicationtypewiththemostsignificantincreaseinuserscalein2017.Bytheendof2017,thenumberofdomesticusersofsharedbicycleshadreached221million.Andbytheendof2017,datafromtheMinistryofTransportofthePeople'sRepublicofChinashowedthat23millionsharedbicycleshadbeenputintothemarket,and77bikesharingenterpriseshadenteredthemarketsuccessively.However,inthesecondhalfof2017,withtheemergenceofproblemssuchasthedifficultyofrefundingthedeposit,therisingcostofbicyclesmanagementandoperation,andtheimpactoftoomanyenterprisesenteringthemarket,bikesharingmodeenteredtheadjustmentperiod.Forexample,severalenterprisessuchasWukongbicycleandXiaomingbicycleshutdown.In2018,duetothedifficultyinrefundingthedepositandtheproblemssuchashighwearrateanddifficultmodeltomakeprofits,theenterprisesleadersofoandMobikefellintoahugeoperationalcrisis.Ofofacedahugedepositrefundandlossofcustomers.MobikewasofficiallyacquiredbyMeituanfor$750million.Comparedwith2016,2018isreallyakeyyearforthesharedbikemodeltoencounterWaterlooasmanybikesharingenterpriseswentbankrupt.Ofcourse,afterthebankruptcyofmanybikesharingenterprises,thepatternofbikesharingenterprisestendstobestable.In2018,themarketscaleofChinesebikesharingenterpriseswas10.8billionyuan,anincreaseof73%monthonmonth.AsaresultZ-*/-*????T/-*????a?offiercecompetitioninthefirsttiercities,manybikesharingenterpriseswentbankrupt.Thebikesharingenterprisesdevelopedinthesecondtierandthirdtiercitiesarealsoexpandingthescaleofenterprises.“Thebicycleserviceisbecomingmoreandmorestandardized,andmoreandmorecustomersareaccumulating.”(SunXiangfeng,2019).Asoftheendof2019,Helloglobal,MeituanbicycleandQingjubicyclearethemainbikesharingenterprises,accountingforabout95%ofthemarketshare.(Thedatascalecanbeshowninthefollowing
“Theoverallgrowthofusersintheindustryisalsoslowingdown,andbikesharingenterprisesaregraduallyturningtheirbusinessfocustoservice,inordertoretainexistingcustomersandwinpublicpraise.”(Han,2019).BusinessModelAnalysisofBikeSharingBusinessmodelisanindustrysystemtomeettheneedsofconsumers.Thissystemorganizesandmanagesvariousresourcesoftheindustry,includingcapital,rawmaterials,resources,operationmode,salesmode,productinformation,brandandintellectualproperty.Theformationofbusinessmodelcanprovideproductsandservicesthatconsumerscannotaffordtobuy.Fromthecircuitousdevelopingprocessofbikesharingabove,itcanalsoshowthechangeofbusinessopportunitiesinbikesharingmode.Noindustriesarealwayssmoothsailing.“Whenemergingindustriesneedtodevelopinsocietyforalongtime,theseemergingindustriesmustconsiderthedevelopmentoftheirbusinessmodelsatanytime,andmakecertaincountermeasurestoadapttothechangesofsociety.Amongthem,thedevelopmentconceptisalsoakeyfactortobeconsideredinthebusinessmodel.”(K.H.Li,2017).DevelopingConceptsThedevelopmentconceptsofbikesharinginfluencethedevelopmentofthebusinessmodelandalsochangewiththeprogressofthetimes.Lowcarbonenvironmentalprotectionandsharingeconomyaretwoimportantconceptsofthedevelopmentofbikesharingmodel.3.1.1TheConceptofLow-CarbonTransportationThefeatureoflow-carboneconomyistoreducegreenhousegasemissionsandcarbondioxideemissions.Therefore,greenandhealthylifestyleisanimportantchoicetoimplementtheconceptofgreensustainabledevelopmentandpromotetheconstructionofgreencity,anditisalsoaninevitablerequirementtoimprovepeople'squalityoflife.Infact,thepopularityofbikesharingisjusttheepitomeandtrendofgreenlifeandlow-carbontravel.Nowadays,withlessandlessavailableeconomicresourcesandworseairconditions,low-carbontravelisanecessarymeasuretopromotegreensustainabledevelopment,thesemeasureshaveagreatsignificanceformaintainingnationalenergysecurityandreducingthepressureofecologicalenvironment.Therefore,theemergenceofbikesharingbringsconvenienceandgreentothecity.Withtherapidpaceoflifeandtheincreasinglycrowdedurbantraffic,theuseofsharedbicycleshasrealizedalow-carbonlifestyle,whichhascertaininnovation.Itisalsoaninevitablerequirementtopromotethetransformationoftrafficmodetothedirectionofsustainableandenvironmentalprotection.Becausegreendevelopmentisalsoareflectionofeconomicdevelopment,bikesharingprovidesconvenienceforthepublictopracticegreenlife,andlaysacertainmassfoundationfortheconstructionofecologicalcivilization.Itcanbesaidthatbikesharingnotonlyprovidestransportationservicesbutalsoenrichesthedevelopmentofgreeneconomy.TheConceptofSharingDevelopmentEconomyTheconceptofsharingdevelopmentisderivedfromtheconceptofgreendevelopment.Sharingdevelopmentisaprocessinwhichthewholepeopleparticipate,buildandenjoytheachievements.Theconceptofsharingdevelopmentguidesthedevelopmentofsharingeconomy.Asmentionedinthe13thfiveyearplan(from2016to2020),sharingistheessentialrequirementofsocialismwithChinesecharacteristics.Sharingisthecoreconceptinthesharingeconomy,whichemphasizestherighttousethegoodsratherthantheownership.Theconceptofsharingdevelopmentemphasizessocialfairnessandjustice,andtheconceptofsharingeconomyemphasizesthemaximumutilizationofresources.Itcanbesaidthattheconceptofsharingdevelopmentiscloselyrelatedtothesharingeconomy,becausetheconceptofsharingdevelopmentwillguideorstimulateeconomicdevelopment.Asweallknow,thefivedevelopmentconceptsareinnovation,coordination,beinggreen,opennessandsharing.Ifwewanttoimplementthenewdevelopmentconcept,wemustbuildamoderneconomicsystem.Asaproductofthetimes,theemergenceofbikesharingconformstothebasicnationalconditionsofourcountryandthedevelopmentofthenewtimes.Intheeraofeconomicglobalization,alargenumberoflivingresourcesareidle,sothesharingeconomybasedontheInternethasbeguntorise.Bikesharingisagoodexample.Itsemergencecanbesaidtoconformtothedevelopmentofthetimes.Moreimportantly,itopensaneweraaboutsharing.Manypeoplebegintopayattentiontothesharingeconomy,andbegintonoticethatthesharingdevelopmentisactuallythetrend.Manypeoplealsobegintotrytousethegoodsorservicestostartthedevelopmentofthesharingeconomy.Itturnsoutthatsharingdevelopmentiseasierforpeopletoaccept,becausewhenpeopleusesharingproducts,itisconvenienttoshareidlegoodsorservices.Besidesthat,peoplecansavemanyresources.Ifpeoplehaveagoodexperience,theywouldliketoshareidlegoodsandservices,itwillfurtherstimulatethedevelopmentofsharingeconomy.Sharingcanchangepeople'soldconceptofpropertyrights,reducepeople'sinherentconceptofprivatemonopoly,expandtheconnotationoftheconceptofpublicgoods,teachpeoplehowtosharetheirproductsorservices,andcultivatepeople'ssenseofcooperation.Thesearethepositivesignificanceofsharingdevelopment.3.2BusinessModelDevelopmentofBikeSharingInitialProfitModelThebikesharingenterpriseschoosedifferentbusinessmodelaccordingtotheirlifecycle.Therearefourbasicprofitmodelsininitialperiodofbikesharing,includingrentalbusiness,depositmodel,advertisingmodelanddatainformationbusinessmodel.Thepurposeoftheinitialprofitmodelistobeadaptedtothedevelopmentofsharingeconomy.Re
