單元語法突破

一、過去進(jìn)行時(shí)

1.過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的概念:表示過去某一時(shí)刻或一段時(shí)間內(nèi)正在進(jìn)行或發(fā)生的動(dòng)作。

2.過去進(jìn)行時(shí)的句式構(gòu)成:

①肯定句式:主語+was/were+v.-ing+其他.如:

Theywereplayingbasketballatthattime.

那時(shí)他們正在打籃球。

②否定句式:主語+was/were+not+v.-ing+其他.如:

Theywerenotplayingbasketballatthattime.

那時(shí)他們沒打籃球。

③一般疑問句式:Was/Were+主語+v.-ing+其他如:

Weretheyplayingbasketballatthattime

那時(shí)他們正在打籃球嗎

④特殊疑問句式:疑問詞+was/were+主語+v.-ing+其他如:

Whatweretheydoingatthattime

他們那時(shí)正在干什么

3.與過去進(jìn)行時(shí)連用的時(shí)間狀語:atseveno’clockthismorning,atthattime,atthistime

yesterday,thewholemorning,alldayyesterday,fromninetotenlastevening等。

二、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞must

(一)must的用法

1.表示“必須”,可用于肯定句或疑問句;用于否定句時(shí),mustn’t的意思是“禁止,不許”,而不表示

“不必”。如:

Mustwefinishtheworktonight

我們必須今晚完成這項(xiàng)工作嗎

注意:

①must主要表示現(xiàn)在或?qū)?但在間接引語中也可表過去(=hadto)。如:

Sheaskedherbossifshemust(hadto)workovertime.

她請示老板她是否必須要加班。

②回答帶有must的一般疑問句時(shí),若作否定回答,常用needn’t或don’thaveto,而不用mustn’t。如:

—MustIcleanalltherooms

所有的房間我都必須清掃嗎

—No,youneedn’t.

不,你不必。

2.表示推測,意為“準(zhǔn)是,一定”,通常只用于肯定句;若表示否定的推測,則用can’t。如:

Thegroundiswet.Itmusthaverainedlastnight.

地面濕了。昨晚一定下雨了。

Thatcan’tbeMr.Li.HehasgonetoShanghai.

那不可能是李先生。他已經(jīng)去上海了。

(二)must與haveto的區(qū)別

兩者都表示“必須”,但must側(cè)重于說話者的主觀看法,認(rèn)為有必要或有義務(wù)去做某事;haveto則側(cè)重于客觀需要,含有“不得不,被迫”之意。如:

我得理發(fā)了。

Thelastbushasgone.We’llhavetowalkhome.

最后一班公共汽車已經(jīng)開走了。我們將不得不步行回家。

OnDec.14,2023,thefamousChinesepoetYuGuangzhongpassedawayinTaiwan.

Bornin1928inNanjing,Jiangsu,YustudiedinSichuanwhenhewasyoung.Atthattime,hehadshowedgreatinterestinChinesepoemsandspentalotofhisfreetimetryingwritingpoemshimself.Thenhemanagedtopublishhisfirstpoemattheageof20.YuandhisfamilymovedtoTaiwan.Helivedandworkedthereuntilhisdeath.

Nostalgia(《鄉(xiāng)愁》)isYu’smasterpieceinwhichheexpresseshishomesicknessfortheChinesemainlandwhenhewasinTaiwan.

Publishedin1971,thepoemremainshighlypopularamongChinesespeakersworldwide.Eventhosewhoknowlittleaboutliterature(文學(xué))arefamiliarwithlinesfromthepoem.ThepoemisincludedinChinesehighschooltextbooks.
