andschools____wehadvisited..Heistheveryman____sheislookingafter..Whoever____iscontentwithalittleprogresscan’tmakebigachievements.Heisnolongertheman____heusedtobe.先行詞是all,little,few,much,anything,everything,nothing,none,noone,some等不定代詞。2)先行詞被all,every,no,some,little,few,much,oneof,theonly,thevery,theright,等所修飾時。3)先行詞前有序數(shù)詞或形容詞最高級修飾時。4)先行詞中既有人又有物時。5)先行詞被theonly,thevery,thesame,thelast

修飾時。6)在疑問詞who、which、what開頭的句子中,

要用that。7)關(guān)系代詞在定語從句中作表語只用that。

九、非限定性定語從句Hisfather________isanengineer,willflytoHongKongthisSunday.A.whichB.whoC.thatD.,who譯:____________________________________________________________________限制性定語從句非限制性定語從句意義方面起限制作用;若被省去,原句意義不完整起補(bǔ)充說明作用;若省去,原句意義不受影響翻譯譯在先行詞前(即從句譯作先行詞的定語)可譯成與主句并列的一個分句功能修飾先行詞即可修飾先行詞又可修飾整個句子關(guān)系詞方面可用that代替人或物,作賓語時可省略不可用that引導(dǎo),作賓語時也不能省形式其前無逗號其前有逗號

限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句的區(qū)別十、“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”引導(dǎo)定語從句(1)關(guān)系代詞which(指物)和whom(指人)在定語從句中作介詞賓語時,這個介詞可放在關(guān)系代詞之前,也可以放在定語從句之尾。當(dāng)介詞置于從句之尾時,which可用that代替,whom可用who或that代替,并常可省去關(guān)系代詞。

此句可改為:

Inthedarkstreet,therewasn’tasingleperson(who/whom/that)shecouldturntoforhelp.

此句中的關(guān)系代詞可用who/whom/that,也可省略不用。再如:

Isthisthecarforwhichyoupaidahighprice?句中“pay…for…”是固定搭配,意為“付錢買物”。此句可改為:

Isthisthecar(which/that)youpaidahighpricefor?此句中的關(guān)系代詞可用which/that

,也可省略不用。(2).“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”可以引導(dǎo)限制性定語從句,也可以引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句。

“介詞+關(guān)系代詞”結(jié)構(gòu)中的介詞可以是:in,on,about,from,for,with,to,at,of,without

等。介詞在前面時,關(guān)系代詞只可用whom或which,不可用that。Thisisthecar,forwhichhepaid5.000dollars.(正)

等在定語從句中,一般不將介詞與動詞分開。例如:

Thisistheboy(whom/who/that)shehastakencareof.(3)前行詞為way,引導(dǎo)詞用inwhich,that,X(4)前行詞為position,situation引導(dǎo)詞用where十二、易混詞區(qū)分—關(guān)系詞的區(qū)分1.DiaoyuIslandsbelongtoChina,_________isknowntoall.2._________isknowntoall,DiaoyuIslandsbelongtoChina.一、as與which的區(qū)別as/whichAs★as和which在引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句時,不同之處主要有兩點:

1.as引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句,可放在主句之前,或者主句之后,甚至可以切割一個主句;另外,as有_____________的意思。

which引導(dǎo)的非限制性定語從句只能放在主句________。正如…之后2.當(dāng)先行詞受such,thesame修飾時,常用_____Ihaveneverheardsuchastory_____hetells.
