SoulJazz,whichwasthemostpopularjazzstyleofthe1960's,differsfrombebopandhardbop(fromwhichitoriginallydeveloped)inthattheemphasisisontherhythmicgroove.Althoughsoloistsfollowthechordsasinbop,thebasslines(oftenplayedbyanorganistifnotastringbassist)danceratherthanstickstrictlytoafour-to-thebarwalkingpattern.Themusiciansbuildtheirpanimentaroundthebasslineand,althoughthereareoftenstrongmelodies,itisthecatchinessofthegrooveandtheamountofheatgeneratedbythesoloiststhatdeterminewhethertheperformanceissuccessful.Jazz爵士樂(lè)
