Whatdoyouknowaboutmilu?Saysomethingaboutthem.糜鹿別名四不象學(xué)名Elaphurusdavidianus英文名David’sdeer鹿科Cervidae分布原產(chǎn)于遼寧、華北、黃河和長江中下游國家一級保護(hù)動物體長約200厘米,體重100(雌)~200(雄)千克,因其頭似馬、角似鹿、尾似驢、蹄似牛而俗稱四不象。僅雄鹿有角,頸和背比較粗壯,四肢粗大。主蹄寬大能分開,趾間有皮腱膜,側(cè)蹄發(fā)達(dá),適宜在沼澤地行走。夏毛紅棕色,冬毛灰棕色;初生幼仔毛色橘紅,并有白斑。由化石資料推測,糜鹿原產(chǎn)于我國東部濕潤的平原、盆地,北起遼寧,南到海南,西自山西、湖南,東抵東海都有分布。為草食動物,取食多種干草、苔草及鮮嫩樹葉。喜群居,發(fā)情期一雄多雌;通常7月份開始交配,懷孕期315—350天,每胎產(chǎn)1仔。18世紀(jì)我國野生麋鹿種群已經(jīng)滅絕,僅在北京南苑養(yǎng)著專供皇家狩獵的鹿群,后被八國聯(lián)軍洗劫一空,盜運(yùn)國外,1985年以來,我國分批從國外引回80多只,飼養(yǎng)于北京南苑和江蘇大豐縣。在散放的江蘇省大豐縣已建立麋鹿自然保護(hù)區(qū),為麋鹿在自然界恢復(fù)野生種群而開展保護(hù)管理和科學(xué)研究工作。
