有時為了特別強調(diào)目的狀語,可以在不定式之前加上in
order或so
as,
即構成in
order
to
do
sth和so
as
to
do
sth結(jié)構。如:

grow
more
quickly.
許多農(nóng)民給莊稼施肥,為的是讓莊稼長得更快些。
I’ll
write
down
his
telephone
number
so
as
not
to
forget
it.
我要把他的電話號碼寫下來,以免忘記。三、語法上的特點
從語法上看,不定式表示目的通常是指發(fā)生在謂語動作之后的動作,也就是說,若以謂語動作發(fā)生的時間為標準,用作目的狀語的不定式是一個尚未發(fā)生的將來動作。如:

他扭頭看人。
“扭頭”的目的是為了“看人”。很顯然,謂語動作“扭頭”在先,目的狀語“看人”在后。若以“扭頭”發(fā)生的時間為標準,“看人”為尚未發(fā)生的將來動作。
