4、為“決定,決議”,復(fù)數(shù)形式是decisions,可用在短語(yǔ)make a decision中,意為“做出決定”。 【拓展】decision的動(dòng)詞形式為decide,為及物動(dòng)詞,意為“決定”,后面多加不定式或賓語(yǔ)從句。3.There are certain rules for job words. certain作形容詞,且表示對(duì)事物的肯定性時(shí),意為“確信,確定,肯定”,常用結(jié)構(gòu)有:certain that,certain to do sth., certain of sth./doing sth.。 【拓展】(1)certain作形容詞,且表示主語(yǔ)很確定時(shí),意為“確信,確定,無(wú)疑”,常用結(jié)構(gòu)有:

5、certain that,certain of/about sth.。(2)certain作形容詞還可意為“(不提及細(xì)節(jié)時(shí))某事,某人,某種”?！颈嫖觥縞ertain,sure在表示“主語(yǔ)很確信”和“說(shuō)話人很確信”時(shí),certain和sure用法相同。sure表示的是主觀上的確信,而certain則更強(qiáng)調(diào)以客觀確定性為描述的前提。因此,在口語(yǔ)中表達(dá)自己的主觀確信而非依據(jù)客觀事實(shí)時(shí)(特別是主語(yǔ)為人的情況下),sure更為常用。在“It is certain+that從句”中,certain可以由sure代替。 4)分組活動(dòng)Work in groups.
