(第四課時)教學內(nèi)容分析 本單元圍繞“日期”這個話題展開教學,并設計了相關(guān)的語言情景,引導學生通過學習年月日的正確表達,進而學會詢問和回答朋友的生日以及個人的日程安排。本節(jié)課內(nèi)容是該單元的第四課時,由一個圖畫連線活動(1),
2、一項聽力任務(2a and 2b)和一項結(jié)對活動(2c)構(gòu)成。本節(jié)課內(nèi)容在承接前一課時“詢問他人姓名,年齡和生日信息”的基礎上,通過學習更多詞匯進一步運用和鞏固本單元所學句型when is +生日或某項活動 ,最終目的是提高學生的聽說讀寫能力。該課時的容量看上去很少,實際上包含的內(nèi)容比較多,在本單元的學習中起到了承上啟下的作用。二、The teaching and learning aims教學目標1. The knowledge and capability知識與能力 1) Be able to pronounce and grasp the words and expressions. 2
3、) Learn to talk about the events dates. 3) Be able to talk about the dates using the new target language.2. The teaching procedure and method 過程與方法 1) Let the students talk about the events. 2) Learn to talk about dates by groupwork.3. The moral aim情感、態(tài)度與價值觀Tell students they should remember their p
4、arents and grandparents birthday and say “ happy birthday” to them. Learn to respect and show their love to others.三、The important language items教學重點 The students can grasp and use the sentence pattern: When is ? It is .四、The procedure教學過程 Step 1. Warming up 熱身活動(2 minutes) 1) Sing an English song.
5、Apple round, apple red, apple juice, apple sweet 2) Greetings. T: Good morning, everyone. Glad to see you again. S: Good morning, Miss tang. Glad to see you 【設計說明:通過課前熱身活動,營造英語氛圍,拉近師生之間的距離,活躍課堂氣氛,使學生在輕松愉快的氛圍中自然地進入英語學習狀態(tài)。】Step 2. Revise and lead-in 復習和導入(8 minutes) Revise the key vocabulary and expre
6、ssions in the last period.(老師手里拿著一張身份證展示給學生看,并且對學生說:) T: Look, here is my ID card. My name is Jenny Brown. My birthday is March 21st . So how old am I?Ss: You are twenty-eight years old.T: Right. 7、thday is T: When is your birthday party? S: My birthday party is 【設計說明:師生通過問答式的自由對話,既復習了上一節(jié)課的內(nèi)容,同時也引出本節(jié)課的生詞,而且學習的內(nèi)容與學生自身生活息息相關(guān),能迅速激發(fā)學生興趣, 使新課的學習有了良好的開端。】Step 3. Presentation呈現(xiàn) (15 minutes) 1)Present the key words and sentences by conversations. Ask and answer the questions like below. T: Wu Yue,when
8、 is your birthday? Wu Yue: My birthday is May 15th . T: Do you have a birthday party. (用多媒體展示一個生日集會的畫面,指著圖片并重復 birthday party) Wu Yue: Yes, I do. T: When is your birthday party? Wu Yue: My birthday party is May 15th . T: When is Wu Yues birthday party? (問全班學生) Ss: His birthday party is May 15th . (
9、Chain Drills: The teacher write “ birthday party” on the blackboard and points at the picture on the screen, let the Ss repeat it, first one by one, then the whole class.) 2) Present another word .T: Fangfany, we know you will have a speech contest .( 用多媒體展示一個演講的畫面, 邊展示邊說:) T: When is your speech co

(問全班學生) Ss: Its December 3rd .( Chain Drills: The teacher write “ speech contest” on the blackboard and points at the picture on the screen, let the repeat it, first one by one, then the whole class.) 3) Presen
11、t “school trip” and “ basketball game in the same way. 【設計說明:在語言情景中呈現(xiàn)新語言材料,調(diào)動學生眼、耳、口、腦等多種器官參與認知活動,確保學生準確理解語言材料的意義,還能吸引學生注意力,激發(fā)學生興趣,使學生滿腔熱情地投入到教學活動中。】Step 4. Game/game/game/basketball game/When is your/Joes basketball game?【設計說明:在 Chain Drills, practice的基礎上,用一段簡短明快的chant,進一步進行操練,學生朗朗上口,學生興趣高,效果好,為后面順利開展任務型活動奠定了堅實基礎?!縎tep 5. TBL activities 任務型活動 (12 minutes) 1) Task 1: Ss work in groups to fill in the form. (教師用多媒體將下

Ask Ss to listen to the conversation carefully and write the name of each event in the correct place on the Calendar. 【設計說
17、明:調(diào)整教材編排順序,把2a,2b放在任務型活動之后,由于前面的聽說訓練扎實到位,此時做聽力訓練就水到渠成,大大提高了聽的效果,提升了學生的學習信心,使學生享受到成功的喜悅?!?Step 6.
