09屆高三英語(yǔ)構(gòu)詞法知識(shí)

1、構(gòu)詞法知識(shí)英語(yǔ)單詞的來(lái)源大致上分為五種：1) 基本詞(base)-是那些在今天看來(lái)已經(jīng)不可再分的詞，出現(xiàn)頻率較高，非專門記憶不可2) 合成詞(combining words)3) 縮略詞(shortening words)可以分為兩種：一種是對(duì)原來(lái)完整的詞進(jìn)行加工，縮略其中一部分字母，構(gòu)成新詞，這種詞叫縮短詞( clipped word)。例女口 phone = teleph one, chute = parachute , copter = helicopter , auto= automobile , ad = advertiseme nt , demo = dem on strati o

2、n ,flu = in flue nza , fridge = refrigerator ; 另外一 種縮略詞是首字母縮略詞(aero nyms)，也就是將詞組中的起首字母聯(lián)成一個(gè)詞，例如：NATO = NorthAtla ntic Treaty Orga ni zati on , radar= radio detect ing and ranging ；4)拼綴詞(blending words)拼綴詞就是對(duì)原來(lái)的兩個(gè)詞進(jìn)行剪裁，取其中的一部分，連成一個(gè)新詞，例如：smog = smoke and fog , medicare = medical + care , psywar = psych

3、ological + warfare ；5)轉(zhuǎn)類詞(shifting words):轉(zhuǎn)類詞就是詞匯不改變?cè)~形而轉(zhuǎn)換了詞類而構(gòu)成的新詞在這幾種構(gòu)詞法中最活躍也是最能夠引發(fā)人的主動(dòng)性的要數(shù)合成詞了。1 詞根(root)下面我們選擇了在現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中出現(xiàn)頻率較高的一些詞根，供大家學(xué)習(xí)記憶。在學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程中需要提醒注意的是，這些詞根在構(gòu)成新詞的時(shí)候，受前后語(yǔ)音的自然影響，往往不止有一種形式，這個(gè)一般在括號(hào)內(nèi)標(biāo)出來(lái)了。aer(o) = air 空氣aerial 空氣的aeropla ne 飛機(jī)alt = high 高altitude 高度anim = life 生命animal 動(dòng)物animate 使生機(jī)勃勃
