Today the lesson that I am going to talk about is from Book one Unit6 Im watching TV. I am going to present it with sev

2、en parts. I. Teaching material analysis: This part is Unit6 section A (1a, ab,1c and 2c).Its the beginning of the Present Progressive. It is around the topic “What are you doing?”.In the textbook, there are many pictures. It can make the students interested in English . It includes What questions,Ye

3、s/No questions and their answers. The teacher will set up a happy and relaxing environment and improve the students listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Teaching Aims and Demands 1. Knowledge and ability aims a. Key vocabulary : talking on the phone、watching TV、 doing homework、eating din

4、ner、cleaning、 reading. b.Target language: What are you doing? Im sleeping.Whats he/she doing? He/She is reading.What are they doing? They are eating dinner.Is he/she writing? Yes, he/she is. No, he/she isnt.c. Ability aims: Train students listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Train studen

5、ts communicative competence. 2. Procedure and method aims: a. The teacher do some activities to introduce the Present Progressive Tense. b. Ask some students to do activities and ask the others to guess.c. Play a film without sound and ask the students to add the sound. 3. Emotion attitude and value

6、s aims: a.Enable students to cooperate among the team members . b.Enable students to talk about something happening bravely. Teaching Key Points 1).Grasp and make use of simple conversations in English: -What are you doing? -I am watching TV.- What is he doing?- He is doing homework. 2).let the stud

7、ents master the differences between the present tense and the present progressive tense.-What do you usually do on weekends? -I usually help my mother with the housework .-What are you doing?-Im having an English class. Teaching Difficulties : The forms of the Present Progressive Tense: be doing and

8、 ask them not to forget “be”. In my teaching life, I know that the students often lose the verb“be”.II.1 Teaching Methods : Task teaching, pairwork and groupwork .The students take the tasks into the lesson . They will know what they need to learn and it will make the studying better. Pairwork and g

9、roupwork can help the students learn how to get on well with others. They will feel happy when they are successful. When they feel to be needed, they will be more confident. It is good for their studies.2. Teaching Aids: A tape recorder, A computer and a big screenA computer can carry lots of inform

10、ation and it can show many interesting pictures to the students. It can make the students more interested in learning English and get better results.III Learning methods:In this lesson , I use watching ,learning by doing , practicing and summarizing methods. In the warming-up step , I do some activi

11、ties and ask them to watch me to lead in the new language. Next I show them lots of pictures to practice the Present Progressive Tense. At last I ask them to sum up the forms of the Present Progressive Tense.IV Teaching procedureStep 1. Warming up1、Greeting2、Play an English song called“Are you sleep

12、ing?”to cheer up the studentsStep2. Leading-inLook at this picture, read after me “read a newspaper”.Get students repeat it .And then teach “make soup、wash the dishes 、go to the movies、eat out”in the same way .Then ask one student:T: What do you usually do on Sundays?Ss: I usually go to the movies.

13、Step 3. Presentation(1).Teacher: Its 8:20 now. What are we doing?We are having an English class now.Im teaching English.Youre learning English.(2).Show students some pictures to question and answer. T: What is she doing? S:She is listening to music.T:What is he doing? S:He is playing basketball.(3)A

14、sk one students to perform,like :run、jump、walk、sing、dance、read books etc. Other students make conversations S1: What are you doing now? S2: Im dancing/singing/walking.T:What is he doing? S:He is playing basketball.Step4. Practice.1. Show some pictures on the screen and let the students ask and answe

15、r. Boys ask , girls answer .then turn around girls ask,boys answer together. Boys:What is he/she doing? Girls:He/She is V-ingBoys:What are they doing ? Girls:They are V-ing2.Let students do pair work for a few minutes and then ask two pais of students to act it out in front of the class.3. Show some

16、 pictures on the screen and ask the students to match the words with the activities. Let students remember all news words.(1a)Step 5. Summary. 一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)1.定義一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)常用來(lái)表示現(xiàn)在習(xí)慣或經(jīng)常反復(fù)發(fā)生的動(dòng)作。2.標(biāo)志詞:usually,always,sometimes,often,every day,never etc.3.結(jié)構(gòu): 謂語(yǔ)是實(shí)義動(dòng)詞一般用動(dòng)詞原形當(dāng)主語(yǔ)為三單謂語(yǔ)變?yōu)閯?dòng)詞的第三人稱(chēng)單數(shù),(即V原V單)?,F(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí) 1.定義:現(xiàn)在進(jìn)行時(shí)表示現(xiàn)在或當(dāng)前一段時(shí)間正在進(jìn)行的動(dòng)作。 2.標(biāo)志詞:listen、look、 right now、while、 now 、 these days 3.結(jié)構(gòu):am / is / are + 現(xiàn)在分詞(即be+doing)【設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生歸納能力,找出記憶的規(guī)律】 Step8.
