1、 TV Special Topic FilmYUCI HYDRAULICS(Manuscript for film ) Yuci Hydraulics PlantOctober, 2001P3 Yuci Hydraulics Plant is the first manufacturer for hydraulic components in China. In 1965, the plant introduced the manufacturing technology and equipment from Yuken and Spindle companies of Japan throu
2、gh China Japan nongovernmental trade. On this basis, it was developed to be an important production base of hydraulic components as well as hydraulic systems in China.P4 Now the plant has a technical developing center and two joint venture companies. Among 2300 employees, there are more than 500 tec
3、hnicians and engineers. Products with High Technology ( 1 ) P5 The plant mainly produces vane pumps, gear pumps, piston pumps, hydraulic valves, cylinders, systems and devices as well as precise castings. These products are widely used for metallurgical, petroleum, chemical, engineering, light indus
4、trial, machine-tool, rubber and plastic, construction, mobile and agricultural machineries.P6 During the initial setting up period early in 1960s, the plant had successfully produced the first generation of hydraulic pumps, valves and cylinders in China. At the same time, the plant transmitted its o
5、wn technology for many brother enterprises, in which the products manufactured with the technology became Yuci series hydraulic components as is known to China. With the reformation and opening of our country, Yuci Hydraulics Plant is continuously introducing and developing new products suitable for
6、 selling and facing intense competition from market at home and abroad, it will be further opened up and developed in near future.P7 In 1981, Yuci plant introduced the technology of high performance hydraulic valve from Vikers Company of United State, including pressure, directional and flow control
7、 valves total 38 models and 75 sizes; in 1988, it again introduced the technology of PFE series pin type vane pump from Atos company of Italy, including 8 series and 75 sizes; basing on it, Yuci plant developed two series of single vane pump PFE 21 and 61.P8 In 1991, the plant established a joint-ve
8、nture-Yuci-Yuken Hydraulics Company, Limited with Yuken Corporation of Japan and introduced 213 drawing numbers and several thousand sizes of new hydraulic valve products.P9 The plant has comprehensive ability in designing and building large size hydraulic systems. It had designed and built the hydr
9、aulic systems of type 1350 slab continuous casting machine for Panzhihua Steel Company which was a breakthrough development in this line of China.P11 In August of 1999, its joint-venture, Yuci-Yuken contracted to build 31 sets of the hydraulic systems of the permanent navigation lock, power station
10、building at right bank and second periodic dam engineering for the national key construction projectThe Three Gorge Water Control Engineering. So far, part of them have been successfully accepted and well-received by the specialists.Modern Machining Equipment ( 2 ) P12 In order to meet the requireme
11、nt for manufacturing new products, Yuci Hydraulics Plant is always paying attention to people training as well as improvement of its equipment, and successively bought a lot of modern machine-tools such as CNC lathes and machining centers.P13 By using CNC lathes and machining centers, the production
12、 capacity of vane pump has been increased to 80,000 pieces every year.P14 The plant has set up a hydraulic system building division, an acid washing line, Parkerizing process line and CAD system.With these CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, CNC machine-tools and improved test stands, gea
13、r pump division and special valve division have increased their ability in developing and manufacturing products and become important hydraulic component producing bases of China.P16 With the trend toward high pressure, precise and small size of hydraulic components as well as widely suing “casting
14、passage”, quality of castings has become a key factor for holding up the development of hydraulic technology. In order to greatly increase the precision of castings, with the help by the state, the plant imported lots of foundry equipment and instruments such as air impact mold production line from
15、Italy, electro-chemical sand cleaning machine from U.S. America, fully automatic shell mold machines from Japan, vacuum direct readout optical spectrometer from U.S. America and internal speculum from Germany. P17 Now, the foundry division has had a production capacity of 8,000T castings each year;
16、the dimensional accuracy and surface roughness of the castings all are in advanced level in china.Modern machining equipment and advanced processing technique afford the plant a dependable guarantee for manufacturing the products with high quality and technology. With a Strong Technical Force in Sci
17、entific Research ( 3 )P19 The technical developing center was the hydraulic technical research department of previous the first machine building ministry of the state, who had carried out research and development of hydraulic technology in the earliest in China. Later it was put under Yuci Hydraulic
18、s Plant and in early of 1994, became the technical developing center of the plant In November of the same year, the center was approved as one of 100 enterprise-run technical centers in China by the Economic Trade Committee, the Custom Head Office and the Tax Chief Bureau of the State.P21 With lots
19、of engineers and high performance testing equipment, the technical center has possessed actual strength in scientific research, design, trial-producing and testing. Since the center founded, it has been developing more than 10 kinds of new products with advanced technical level or anxiously needed b
20、y our customers every year and also undertaken some important researching and developing projects in hydraulic industry and whole China. They are always focusing on co-operation between factory and college or research institute as well as making full use of social resources. For instance, the center
21、 has set up a mutual interflow developing relationship with Tianjin Engineering Research Institute, Huazhong Science and Engineering University and so on, totally including 8 institutes and 6 colleges.Quality Control System and Marketing Network ( 4 ) P23 Enterprise survive comes from quality of its
22、 own product. The plant is always taking the principle “Serve the customers and be responsible for them so as to meet with their requirement”, upholding the production policy of “Quality is the first” and keeping its promise for the customers against product quality guarantee. P24 In order to conven
23、iently and quickly provide our products for the customers, the plant has successively established 34 marketing agencies in middle and big cities as well as coastal areas all over the country making up a wide marketing and service channel. Every agency has been equipped with a computer and adopted ad
24、vanced computer management and internet work system.P25 ISO 9000 Quality System Certificate is an international acceptable quality identification and also a pass towards the international market for enterprises and their products. On November 11, 1998, the plant quality control system successfully p
25、assed through formal examination by China Certification Center for Machine-Building Quality System and on December 12, the plant was given the ISO 9000 Quality System Certificate issued by CCMQS.
