If you have con tacted us before you arrive at Chongqing and have told us the

7、 pla ne in formatio n,the Intern ati onal Stude ntes Office will arrange cars to pick you up at the airport, or you can choose several kinds of public tran sportati on from there to the campus.3.1 TaxiAt the gate of arrival, you can take a taxi to the Gate of Chongqing Normal Un iversity. 9、llowi ng the route marki ng.4、Basical living facilities4.1 Financial servicesWe suggest that you shall redeemed for a certa in amount of RMB cash whe n you arrived at Chongqing airport. There is a bank provide curre ncy excha nge service at the exit of the airport. In the abse nee of large con sumpt

10、i on, the amount of hun dreds of RMB should be a reas on able choice ,carry ing large amounts of cash is also an un safe factor.Bank of China in Chongqing provide foreig n excha nge services, if you have foreig n curre ncy cash can easily excha nge to RMB. Many intern ati onal credit card could be u

11、sed at the ATM in Chi na, but the VISA and Master Card is the most com mon, other types of ARDS(America nExpress/Di ners/Discovery/JCB,etc.) is relatively rare.Therefore, we recomme nd that you carry VISA card in China.There is Bank of Chi na outside the East Gate of Chongqing Normal Un iversity can

14、Bank of Chi na, Traffic Bank of Chi na, Mercha nts Bank of Chi na, they can han dle RMB and all kinds of foreig n curre ncies deposits and withdrawals. You should take your passport if you want to ope n acco un ts. In these Ban ks, you can deposited into the foreig n curre ncy like pound, HK dollar,

15、 Euro, Japa nese yen, Can adia n dollar, Australia n dollar(a total of 7)directly.4.2 AccommodationChongqing Normal Un iversity provides apartme nt for intern ati onal stude nts specifically, the apartme nt is in the young teackers?buildi ng and the no .22 foreig n teacherslbuild ing in the campus.

Remind every one here, when you live off-campus, you must assurereliable source of hous ing in formati on, lease complete legal formalities, presid over and make room ren tal lice nse to the local police stati on for the record, stude nts can also show the related to the local reside nts? c

19、ommittees for the record registratiorin a word, stude nts should en sure that the procedures for renting an apartment is complete, legitimate and reliable. 20、ern ati onal stude nts liv ing in the school stude nt apartme nt should be paid in time as stipulated about the releva nt man ageme nt of accommodation. 21、s check-out, the fee of apartment will accommodation and settlement until returning key. Students living off-campus should also be paid their rent in time, lest produce unn ecessary legal disputes.Specially, many stude nts(especially in the case of stude nts livi ng off-campus)will ofte n cha nge th

There are 3 stude nts can tee n in ShaPi ngBa campus of Chongqing Normal Un iversity: the first stude nt can tee n, the sec ond stude nt can tee n and the third can tee n. Intern atio nal office will issue a certificati on for you ,the n you can deal with mea

25、l card in the service cen ter of the first can tee n, the expe nse of the card is 20 yua n ,and you must top-up at least 80 yua n for the first time. The meal card can used in all of the 3 can tee ns, you can use cash in a few places. Fort un ately, the restaura nts are very close to foreig nal stud

26、e nts apartme nt.In additi on to the stude nts can tee n in the school campus ,there are a lot of restaura nts around the school campus you can choose: some small restaura nts at the back door of school offers a variety of cook ing and pasta, San xia square opposite the school gate have more choices

27、, shopp ing malls, such as Wan gfuji ng , New Cen tury, Jiamao shopp ing malls,Hua nghuaxinjiyua n, and so on, all the malls have places for dining, provides a rich Chin ese food and wester n food, fast food and a buffet, there are also rich in Chongqing characteristics and flavor hot pot, spicy pot

Due to differences in health standards, foreigner direct drinking tap water may cause discom

I n additi on, because there are very few Chin ese people have severe allergic react ions to food, if you are allergic to some food, please be sure to pay atte ntio n to the compositi on of the food you eat.4.4 ShoppingThere are some stores in campus, you could buy some basic daily n ecessitie

Around the school, there are a lot of small shops, cloth ing stores, etc. If you want more choices, you can go to the San xia square which is n earest school, there are a lot of large shoop ing malls, such as New Cen tury, Wangfujing, Jiamao ,Huayu, etc, you could find many clo

31、thes, daily n ecessitiesa nd electrical applia nces in side them.There are also many large supermarkets ,such as Carrefour，丫onghui ,New century, Bofeng lotus, etc. Beside, there are some large electronics stores, such as Saibo digital square, Suning applia nee, Shan gshe house applia nces, etc. You

32、can find almost all you n eed here.4.5 Network servicesThe dormitory has the in terface of the Intern et, it will be very convenient. You can also surf the In ternet in computer cen ter, library, or In ternet Bars outside school. We will publish a large amount of in formatio n on the Intern et, some

33、 of them is very importa nt to you ,you?d better browse it oftenn the dormitory you could log in the campus network as long as you are correctly connected to Internet, and select the “obtainand IP address automatically and“ obtai n DNS server address automaticallyi” the In ternetprotocol(TCP/IP) pro

If you n eed to browse the domestic and intern ati onal webside, you could take the certificati on which give n by intern ati onal office and your passport to the school in formatio n n etwork cen ter (room 305,complex buildi ng, n ext to the library) to do the acco unt ope ning formalities

35、. After ope n the acco unt, you could in stall the software named Netkeeper2.5 then buy a top-up card and recharge your account. After doing this,you could use the Intern et. Prepaid card is charged accordi ng to the flow of in formati on, you can choose differe nt class package accordi ng to your o

Chin ese postal mail room in campus is n ear the gate of school, you can deal with all kinds of postal services.*

40、If you live in campus apartment, the postal room will give you a call to tell you what?s sent to you whe n some one send you importa nt mails.(eg. letters, parcels or remitta nee, etc.)* If it?s a registered mail, please take your valid certificate (student ID card or passport) directly to the mailr

For stude nts with work visa and tourist visa ,the school has no obligati on to buy releva nt in sura nee for you ,there has no thi ng to do with school if they have any accide nts.5.2 MedicalThe school hospital will provide good medical care
