She jumped up and her elbow ( over her eyes. Oh, no! Rachel said sorry, got off andran in doors. Mum was nt in the kitche n but lay
12、in bed as she caught an awful cold. Rachel offered tomake acup of tea but Mumwouldrather wait for Dad. Rachel sighed. She understood Mumwasafraid she would spill (灑出)it.“ But would yougo to Mrs.Willow for some cold cures ?” asked Mum. Rachelturned to the door at once.“ But Rachel, Mrs.Willows house
13、is full of beautifulthings,so if she asks you to come in, youd better say no. ” Rachel sighed and ranout.Mrs.Willow was an old lady with white hair and sharp_blue_eyes livin_an old house.
